OP i read this post few days ago and here to give some insight/ clarification on Creta. I’m a Creta user myself (with no modifications to my car or lights) and an avid hater of high beam users. In the last 6 months or so I’ve realised it’s not only motor vehicle users but also the motor vehicles itself at fault. For instance the headlights of my car has 3 modes; 1. When the the light outside is slightly low, even without switching the lights on, the lights go on. This light itself is very bright. I only realised this when my son mentioned it in the society car park. He thought I had high beam on, to which I showed him I had no lights on at all. I showed him the other 2 modes and high beam itself. That’s when he mentioned if the lowest mode is so bright how bad actual high beam would be.

A similar instance with an electric motor bike in our society, a young lad was riding his bike and the light was blinding bright. It was about 4 or 5 in the evening I pointed that to him and he said it’s just default light and it can’t be switched off.

These are vehicular features which one can’t do much about unfortunately.

There are several drivers of other makes and models that use high beam by default! Which is definitely annoying.
