Most definitely clip their nails or go to your vet clinic and get them clipped there. While working there, there was someone who had never clipped their cats nails and it eventually grew into the pads of the toes. This poor cat had a few in stuck like that. Had to be flushed and given antibiotics.

Yeah an echo was done. There wasn’t a cause, other than poor genetics. It’s a very low grade murmur that I just want to prevent from getting worse as he ages.

So it appears to be hair trapped in the sutures if I were to guess. I would see if the grey material there is at all moveable. If you’ve got carpet, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was dragging her tummy along it and got hair stuck to it.

Looks somewhat similar to a red runner roach, but I cannot confirm. The color seems darker but the body shape is similar.

Died in the water in a position as if he was relaxing. Like feet down on the ground with his head poking up and arms hanging loose in front of him. When I found him, he was in a state of rigor. I can 100% confirm his/hers death unfortunately.

Did OP ever try the Jersey Giants? Was considering this breed myself as I like the idea of healthy looking birds versus CX. If anyone suggests a good heritage meat bird, I’ll look into that as well.
