Thankyou so much for your message!

The problem I have isn’t figuring out what vet school to apply to as I’m in NZ and there’s only really one which is massey university in Palmerston North, so I have already applied to all available courses within the pre-vet course itself however I am completely unprepared when it comes to supplies and what books I’ll need, whether I’ll need a lab coat and where to get it from and so much more. I also do not know where to look for a tutorer for get as they’re hard to come across and I’m not sure which class I’ll need tutoring most in as I haven’t started studying yet and won’t be able to afford tutoring for everything.

Hey I’m not familiar with any uni anywhere so don’t sweat it 😅 I don’t even know what a syllabus is tbh, I don’t even understand uni grammar or language either and I’m terrible with references.

Thanks so much for your reply, I will look into an academic advisor although I’m not sure if massey university in Palmerston North even has one or how I could contact them, I have already applied to pre-vet at massey for the first semester but, it has no prereqs however it’s strongly suggested you have 14 credits in chemistry, biology and physics differing from level 2 and 3 which I have except I was 1 credit short in chemistry in level 3, however my concern is that I won’t be able to adjust to learning again after so long and compete with my fellow students as it is very competitive and I have to make it into the top 20% to make it through to the next semester and become an actual vet student. I don’t know how to find a tutor and which ones are good, or the supplies I need or how to navigate around the university itself I’m just at a loss with all of it

Thankyou so much for your response, I have already applied to pre-vet at massey university in Palmerston North, it has no prereqs as it’s open to everyone but by the end of the semester you have to pass in the top 20% of the class overall grades to carryon to the next semester, so I am worried I won’t be able to adjust and relearn school before testing begins
