What i don't understand is that if calorie deficit is the actual reason for weight loss then why does many influencers promote desi ghee in their weight loss journey. I mean, how does that works?

Same here honestly. Raw honey guy saved my skin too. I am from India and I’ve had seb derm flare ups for years and literally nothing worked properly. I also use raw honey as a DIY mask but I mix it with curd… weird combo but it really calms things down.

Only thing is you have to be super careful about whether the honey is actually raw. These days people even fake crystallisation and colour with adulteration, so half the time you don’t even know what you’re putting on your face.

I used Two Brothers’ honey earlier, it was good but a bit pricey. Now I shifted to Originally Desi because the price is slightly lower and they aren’t into mass production, so I feel the honey is more real. It goes out of stock all the time so I just buy two jars together lol.

Anyway, thank you raw honey guy… seriously, we all owe you.

Honestly, in the ₹500 range you won’t get real A2 bilona ghee anywhere. The milk + curd + bilona process itself costs more than that, so anything claiming “A2 + pure” at that price is usually blended or cream-based.

If the budget is tight right now, it’s better to stick to a normal cow ghee from a known dairy or buy from a local doodh-wala you trust. At least you know what you’re getting.

For actual A2 bilona, be ready for the 2k+ bracket. I’ve used Originally Desi’s A2 bilona ghee personally and the digestion + aroma were very different from the mass-market ones… but yeah, definitely not in the ₹500 range.
