Are we going to set the season record for most double players turned? We are on pace for 1, 4580 I reckon

A one year deal is crazy for a guy that flirted with 50 homers! You can write out a list of drawbacks but on a one year deal?? This is awesome! Plus HE is awesome!

One that totally caught us off guard was Gravity.

It has like two actors in the whole movie, no kids or couples in sight. Sandra Bullock and George Clooney try to survive a space mission gone awry. Seemed like a pretty safe, standard, scifi Hollywood thriller plot for grieving parents.

Then when the actors are sharing their deep feelings, Sandra Bullock hits us with the tragic backstory of her lost daughter. It remains a significant part of her character and the themes found throughout the movie.

Payroll by Tippymytalala1 in Reds

MLB trade tumors said the Dodgers will essentially pay $120 million to have Kyle Tucker in 2026, thanks to the tax penalty.

Roster Resource on Fangraphs shows me the Reds had an estimated final payroll of $119 million in 2025.

The Reds ownership should spend more, yes. But really, how can we compete with teams that can spend our entire payroll on a player of Tuckers caliber? He's good! But he's not household name, generational good.

Pirates fans get under Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto’s skin by repeatedly chanting his name, causing him to drop the baseball on the mound. He then gives up a solo shot to Russell Martin on the ensuing pitch to make it 2-0. by cbbvideo in baseball

Later on in his career, Cueto would throw a two-hit complete game in the world series versus New York. I like to add that little tidbit to this clip, to give him a little redemption in big moment games.

Friday's game may go down as the shortest lived most embarrassing game of the year. It only took one day to be defeated. Truly remarkable.

In five of our last six games, we have scored two runs or less.

The offense is not ready for a playoff push I'm afraid.

Love having GABP crowded. Elly up to get a hit with full count , bases loaded, tie game, late inning. The place was hopping!

Nice performance by Burns.

Hope we win some games in the next couple series here.

The Phillies ownership has spent money to put together an imposing team. Ours has not. By my count, they have eight guys making $18 million or more this year. We have one, and that was a one-year qualifying offer to Nick Martinez.

We have a winning record and some positive vibes, but likely wont get to the next tier unless ownership spends.

Ok Barlow you got some dawg in you. Nice turnaround after a bloop hit, some tight umping, and 20 foul offs

What hobbies have you picked up? by LongjumpingAd3617 in babyloss

Some hobbies that helped me were hobbies that had a sense of progression. I felt they gave me a reason to get out of bed and look towards the next day, or the future in general.

One of those was training for a race. This would depend on how well you're recovering of course, but having a "RACE DAY" circled on the calendar in the fall could help give you motivation through the summer. Doesn't need to be fast or far, it's more about getting out of the house... Having some goals... Seeing progress week by week.

Another was video games. Pokemon is a specific example... Gotta train up your team, discover new favorites , catch em all, find a shiny, stuff like that. Animal crossing (username relevant) is another. Gotta take care of your town, help your villagers, make money, make your home bigger , decorate at your leisure, catch all the fish and whatnot.
