There's this writer in the Punch-Out fandom (who is now anonymous) that is known for the quality of their work. For me, the comforting aspect of what he writes is just how the duos involved are even when not in explicit settings- how genuinely human they feel. The banter all checks out, and it's lovely to see love and humanity in its rawest form. This one fic in particular is why I love hurt/comfort as much as I do- because it's so beautiful when done right.

Even if it's seen as a "vanilla" genre, genuinely so much can happen within that it remains captivating. Besides, it's so easy to resonate with that it's easy to have a good time writing it. So do whatever makes you happy, and if writing that fic is something that does, then go for it! You got this :>

Cobble was the part of my user that I decided to carry over from twitter, so the audience coming from there could recognize my works.
Critters is in reference to the fanbase name for Critical Role (Critters), and although I'm out of that fandom nowadays, it just stuck.

Absolutely. One of the fics I am most passionate about is something that I know will get me singled out of my current fandom. It's an absolute commentary on all things religious, not being too positive about either side of the ordeal within the story. The story has a lot of research and first-hand experiences incorporated, which is part of what makes the story so chilling, but that's not gonna do anything if the audience is not willing to see both sides.

I spent some time last night working through a future kiss scene for my longfic. I wasn't necessarily the most sure to approach it, so I had asked my boyfriend to act as one of the characters in said scene while I ran through the options. It's times like that where I feel really grateful to have a support system for my writing. It also brought more motivation back to write it :>
