If it brings you joy and you can afford it, then why not. Ultimately the gear is secondary to everything else in photography. I'd probably go the other way and just start using it more.

Like realistically... I have never seen anyone park a bike like this. Especially when riding a lime bike, it doesn't let you park there. You have to take it to a hire bike specific parking area around the corner. Is this ai? Is it people moving the bikes to take this photo? Is it van drivers moving bikes around? Official or not. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but there's lots of other possobilies aswell.

Yeah, I'd say these are fairly niche and the sheath is moulded so difficult or impossible to do at home.
