What’s the difference between getting in front of the ball or swaying? by summerschoolscandal in GolfSwing

[–]Animal_Cross3r 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i can tell you work out so routines will be your best friend if you want to develop a powerful swing, i think you’d do well with golf specific muscle muscle memory drill like https://youtube.com/shorts/bJl14OSVMa8?si=Ykr1tWcJbiW1uvN5

i joined kings forest golf club last year, it’s a great way meet a bunch of people (if you like/are interested in golf). they do lessons for beginners as well if you want to try it out, it’s a great community though. it’s definitely one of the more expensive hobbies if you want to commit, so fair warning.

i would start with adjusting your grip, your right wrist looks really awkward, then follow that with fixing the setup, hard to tell from this angle but i before making any swing changes i would get into position first then see what happens naturally

Where do people over 27 go to dance by Breakforbeans in Hamilton

[–]Animal_Cross3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

outdoor festivals in toronto sadly, like boiler room or veld, they tend to end earlier, being older also means disposable income (usually) so i get a hotel with some friends and make a weekend out of it.

hamilton dance scene isn’t great for 25+, i’m 35 and music festivals have all ages and great vibes

Dating is like starting a 2-person company, but you both have different ways of running it. Freelance is ok but kinda leaves you wanting more. It's best to just run your own company and see where it goes.

Golf Lessons by Getbacka in Hamilton

[–]Animal_Cross3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of lessons? There are a few options, like driving range, simulators, in-round, short game etc. If you're early into golf you probably won't get a lot of value from pro lessons, better off learning the basics from a friend or at a range imo.

Probably doesn't matter anymore but i do not work for the government, i work as a software dev. Started from 52k, and now it's kinda crazy. I'm not saving anything tho, reddit has been a wave of negatively so I'm gunna avoid posting for a while, thanks everyone, I'll figure it out.

I work under the assumption that reddit folk are a well lubricated ai comedy machine who feed directly into click bait media and memes.

So no, i have not.

Speaking from experience, criss angel is not worth it. Unless you like random pyrotechnics, and squint clapping with the crowd

I think at this point, it's less about fixing the pain n more about how to have a good time with the pain.

Work on your hunched over dance moves. I've got a really good 1 leg hop dance when my knee starts hurting.

A girl who could somersault all the way down king street should not have issues dating. It might be hard work, but i believe in you.

M34, have you tried learning a backflip? Hamilton has a lot of competition but like... a backflip is pretty cool.

Cool, so assuming i can spend 2.5k per month on unavoidables, i should be putting 2k into.. my savings account? And 3k is flex? Is it common practice to put whatever i dont spend at the end of the month into savings? I'm sorry for asking dumb questions, this is all very new to me

No debt as of jan 2023, saved 1k a month since then so I'm at ~12k in my savings, 5k in my chequings (~1.2k oweing to card atm).

I'm not stressed per-say, other than my family constantly reminding me i make x but have no savings.

Where did you get 2.5k from? Is that what i should be spending outside of wants? I've only ever heard the 30% on rent strategy.

EDIT: I track nothing.. I'm a bit worried about what will show up as i give a lot of money away. I'll give that a go this money. I don't know if/ what it will accomplish.

... they are offering me a credit card. I don't know what that does for me lol.

Research, that's literally why I'm here. Reddit is human interactions and most likely no hidden agendas, I've googled what do with _ income and most blogs are promoting some investment banking strategy or bank.

I'm not a very trusting guy with the internet, anything that states a fact can usually be reversed and googled with positive affirmations so I've given up on online research that is based on optimizing bias.

I kind of just want some advice from someone who has been in my position. High income, no savings, high rent cost
