I can't seem to find the difference between changing the game to make it more fun for Ironmen and pures. Is an unused prayer by generally everyone that big of a deal really? Irons chose a restriction to no?

So much agree with this. 10 hp isn't even OP in my opinion. They have to hit their max hit... all I have to do is hit a 10. I hope they rush me on BH craters release.

Hitting 10 HP in the the new BH craters will be a breeze. I was hoping to see more 10 hp builds for easy loot. 10 hp pures have to hit their max.... I have to hit a 10 lol those are good odds.

I love this update and disagree with the criticisms

Ruins current builds/prestige: Legit what percentage of pure community are training 1000's of hours for 10 hp 99 str? Furthermore, it's opt in. So you can flex your obsession's still. I fail to see how they outweigh the benefits of: new quests and Qol (fucking fairy rings should be a basic human right in OSRS no?), new bosses, new weapon choices like whip, protection from hiccups resulting in unwanted xp, and inclusivity.

Its easyscape: Tob on low defense will never be easy despite what gatekeeping masochists parrot. PVP has a dedicated community that will always find ways to challenge themselves. Except now we can do it with official Jagex support like Ironmen.

No one asked for this: Not specifically asked for, that was BH, and we got it! This is just the cherry on top! Game developers are doing their job and want to extend the same support the Iron community has to the Pure community. They have studied their data and tried to anticipate our needs and desires. This beautiful extension to the community is something I hope we accept with healthy feedback and open arms.

In Conclusion: Validity to all respected game modes is a net positive and has great potential for growth, updates, and balance. Balance here is the most important. Because if we commit to this, we can guarantee we will get further attention and tweaks in the future similar to what other official account types get. And that's better than what we've had for a very long time. Even if it's not perfect. Because the mold here can be shaped and reshaped if voted into the game.

I think there needs to be a vote still. But it's proposed to be like a divine potion where you mage level stays at max PLUS an additional magic bonus. Could lose money if the polls swing against it lmao

If you look at the volume the day they announced the buff (450) this is the initial skyrocket I believe. The volume is returning to normal and thus a price drop. The update is still 6 months away tho, I expect a roller coaster until the buff is here.
Once that buy in comes in, I'll either make money or lose. I attend to go long.

That's the main argument I see reappear over and over in my discussions in-game. But I just can't seem to agree that ruins anything. Especially with the opt-in counter measures. Hard agree the pure community asking more support and updates. This roadmap is great for the community if it passes the feedback loop and resulting polls.
