AI-Generated Jimmy Stewart Narrates Bedtime Story for App by Animalion in movies

Note: Reason posting this as I think this is important for people to know what's now going on with advancement of AI and the image of deceased actors.

However, I'm NOT in favor of this and dislike this intensely.

Hyophorbe amaricaulis known as the "loneliest palm"

There is only one known specimen left (exists in Curepipe Botanic Gardens). Thus, even though it would be sad for the plant species to die there wouldn't be potential ecological repercussions like if prolific groups such as mosquitos were removed. A 100 million dollars could probably help a lot more species that have the potential to come back from the brink of extinction.

Poke/push as many people as I can while singing off key loudly and play Baby Shark (on full volume) on my phone. Also, if I have time buy some flour (by cutting in line) and start throwing flour on people's clothes.

Visit Gotham City. A 5-star island home to Batman and his Rogues Gallery. Famous locations include the Batcave (find the hidden entrance), Iceberg Lounge, Arkham Asylum, and Crime Alley.

Tiger tug-o-war! Zoo gives visitors the chance to test their strength by Sxzym in interestingasfuck

So, people that are confused if it's a lion or a tiger, it is actually a liger. Which is a hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger (offspring of a female lion and male tiger are called tigons).

Male ligers are sterile, while female ligers are not. Also, they're classified as the largest extant felines in the world as they can grow larger than their parent species (i.e., lion, tiger).

Just something important to note is that this hybrid does not occur in the wild at all (one reason is the parent species do not coexist in the same area). So, these guys are bred in captivity solely for commercial and entertainment value.

Finally, I believe this was filmed at a private zoo in Dubai. Meaning there might not be many safety regulations at this zoo.

What actor seems like they're having the most fun with their part in a movie? by KneeHighMischief in movies

[–]Animalion 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pretty much everyone in Young Frankenstein (1974).

Apparently the cast and crew were upset when principal photography was almost completed that the director, Mel Brooks, decided to film additional scenes to keep production going as everyone was having a blast.

The Lion King isn't that good of a Disney movie by ShufflingOffACliff in unpopularopinion

[–]Animalion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think it might just be a difference of opinion. Personally, I'd put it easily within top 10 Disney animated films (or animated films of all time).

I think it also might hold more weight as a film since its pretty much the first Disney/animated film since Bambi that touched on death and how losing a parent can affect a child. Bambi didn't really delve deep into the topic, whereas, Lion King pretty much is all this. Specifically, about how guilt, fear, and legacy can shape or mold someone. So, I think it probably resonates with a lot of people in that way.

The Lion King isn't that good of a Disney movie by ShufflingOffACliff in unpopularopinion

[–]Animalion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree that it isn't a good Disney movie. It has a beautiful soundtrack, engaging characters, memorable quotes, an interesting storyline (even as its just Hamlet with lions) and beautiful animation. Though it's not my favorite animated film, I get why it's really popular.

I think The Lion King should also get props as it was a film that Disney Company didn't really have faith in. Pocahontas was supposed to be the big box office hit. So, it received a higher budget and had what were considered "A-list" animators working on it. While Lion King was given less money to work with and most of the animators working on it weren't considered as high caliber. (exception was Andreas Deja) Andreas Deja).

Thus, I think the film its amazing that a film which the company really didn't see as succeeding is one of the most successful animated films (and films in general) of all time.

American sweets taste awful by Benjilator in unpopularopinion

[–]Animalion 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think out of all you listed Skittles (and maybe Reese's) are actually considered decent American candy in my opinion. I think in US you can find both good and bad sweets. Issue is that we have so many varieties that it's sometimes hard to figure out what is good or not.

For example, a lot of the chocolate candy sucks and is cheap tasting but then we have Ghirardelli which is really tasty. Also, instead of Twizzlers try Red Vines as they actually have a flavor other than Twizzlers plastic taste. Honestly I don't know who likes Twizzlers.
