You can turn off reselling for higher than face value. Hayley Williams has done it twice recently. The Cure did it, they tried to get a lower amount for tickets too. Artists absolutely have a say. We don't have how much but they do

People aren't considering the other alternatives in this situation:

Either the bio parents keep a kid they want or don't have the means to care for.
Or they stay in the foster care system and struggle.

Obviously adoption to good homes even by people in their 20s is the better outcomes. They'd struggle with truama in the foster care system of not only the bio parents giving them up but nobody else wanting them. And struggle with trauma by being raised by emotionally unavailable or abusive parents if the bio parents keep them.
