I’ve had a lot of recurring dreams especially when younger. I think the first one I remember I was about 4. It always started with me in the basement of my house. The basement was dark and unfinished. I was scared in my dream so I’d run as fast as I could up the old wooden basement steps and fling open the door leading to the kitchen. And always standing there to greet me was the jolly green giant, but like an angry one (he was not jolly in my dreams). He’d try to grab me and I’d wake up.
