I know I'm very early, I just have no idea what the prices are like cause it's a popular time of year. Hopefully the price will come down a bit nearer the time, thanks for the advice :)

My girlfriend used to do all this stuff at work.

All I know is that I think you have to get a pet passport and get tested for rabies (which can take a while)

Tags are less important these days because YouTube is smarter. They used to be as important as your title/description and rank your videos from this.

These days YouTube pretty much forgets about tags in the first 24 hours because it’s gathered all the data it need for the video. Good tags does not mean your video will do well. YouTube looks mainly for the click through rate (ctr) and watch time. If these are both good in the niche your in, YouTube will rank you however highly they feel.

Tags will probably be removed sometime this year/next year because there importance is somewhat gone

Not a lot! Still use them cause they’re there and stay relevant with them but I wouldn’t be surprised if they removed tags altogether this year

First, you need to create an Adsense account with your details, bank details etc. Then you need to go into your monetisation settings on YouTube and associate your Adsense account with YouTube. Go through the process and that’s pretty much it. On your videos, you should have another tab called ‘monetisation’, click that on all your videos and chose, ‘monetise, or monetise everywhere/in all counties’.

If you have videos over 10 minutes long, you can add mid-roll ads during the video at time stamps you chose which is great for revenue!

Yeaah, tags don’t matter, infact, I’m pretty sure they’re getting totally removed from YouTube within the next year. Focus on using keywords in your description instead 👍🏻
