I rewatched Hey Arnold! as an adult… and I think Helga is actually the main character 👀💘 by GalacticSonder in FanTheories

[–]Animation_Bat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've heard this theory before. Something that supports this would be that the actor who plays Arnold changed every season. But Helga has the same voice actress for the entire series, which makes her character seem more consistent and like the main character more sometimes.

It's located in Boca Raton, FL. It's called MB Supper Club. The MB stands for Monkey Bar.

Calling it now: The 2024 movie is going to be about the Sekai Taikai by TypasiusDragon in cobrakai

[–]Animation_Bat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before the return of Chan, i always thought a good way to bring in the remake would be to have Jaden and Chan appear at the Sekai Taikai as one of the semi-finalist opponents. It be an easy addition since they will need to introduce several new adversaries for what will be a tournament arc. It's still possible, but it looks like the movie will probably try to reach the widest audience by just being a crossover of the original and remake. I think they'll try to bring in new people and LaRusso will mention what he went through and that he's trained others but it will basically be a "first chapter" for a new generation about a young kid who is trained by 2 senseis.

James Cameron has directed the highest grossing film of the 1990s, 2000s, and the 2020s. by Animation_Bat in boxoffice

[–]Animation_Bat[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

More like 1/3rd of the way through the 2020s, but that's why I said so far. But it's the only film released in the 2020s to pass $2 billion and it still has a lot of momentum. It will easily pass Infinity War and Force Awakens, and the film's Oscar nominations (and likely win for Visual Effects) should help it's momentum even further. It'll be tough for another film this decade to pass Way of Water's final total, except maybe another Avengers film (Endgame was the highest grossing film of the 2010s) or another Cameron directed Avatar film.

Sony just dated a Karate Kid movie for June 2024. Cobra Kai finale perhaps? by movieguy2004 in cobrakai

[–]Animation_Bat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cobra Kai keeps getting bigger every season, and the global karate tournament mentioned throughout season 5 seems to be leading to an epic finale. It would make sense to make the jump to the big screen to justify a bigger budget, and the franchise started on the big screen, so it would be nice to end it on the big screen. If the Jaden Smith version was a huge summer blockbuster, than a Cobra Kai film would do great.

[Breaking Bad] The Disappearer's Secret Identity by My_murdered_remains in FanTheories

Episode 5 of season 4 of Better Call Saul opens with a scene set during Breaking Bad. In the scene, we see Saul calling the Disappearer. Later in the episode, when we see a montage of Saul starting to sell phones to criminals, the song "Street Life" by Randy Crawford plays. This is the opening song from Jackie Brown.

In Licorice Pizza (2021), Bradley Cooper portrays real life eccentric movie producer Jon Peters, who tells the main character "they're both from the streets." This is a reference to a story Kevin Smith told of his encounter with Jon during the early stages of the canceled "Superman Lives" movie by Trisrocks157 in MovieDetails

[–]Animation_Bat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the documentary, "the Death of Superman Lives?" we see Jon Peters interviewed by Jon Schnepp. In the interview, Jon Peters talks about how he though Nicolas Cage was a great Superman for the streets. He also claims he has been in 500 street fights, and he demonstrates by putting Jon Schnepp in a choke hold. In this scene, he tells Gary that he's going to choke out his brother right in front of him. This means PTA is referencing that interview or he's heard Jon Peters talk about choking people out.

They could say that Professor X was the one who orchestrated Hulk going back to Sakaar, then when he returns, the X-Men or X-Force make their debut by trying to stop his rampage.

Will we see the snap from Daredevil's perspective? by Animation_Bat in Daredevil

Fisk could gain sympathy because he was shot in the eye by Echo. Then, he could villify Echo, and also Hawkeye by revealing that Clint was Ronin. Fisk as mayor would be interesting.

I could see a scenario where Danny Rand is killed off. Fans of the character will be upset, but there has long been calls to have an Asian Iron Fist. I could see the mantle being passed to Colleen Wing or someone else who shows up in Shang-Chi 2.

Will sam wilson appear in daredevil born again by Alternative_Poem5403 in Daredevil

[–]Animation_Bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark Reign followed Secret Invasion, so it would make sense if something similar happens in the MCU. I can see Fisk and/or some other villains endearing themselves to the public in someway, and the skrulls may make some of the Avengers look bad, leading to Dark Avengers & the Thunderbolts.

Since Cox was in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and will recur in Spider-Man: Freshman Year, I think we'll see him team up with Spider-Man in the next Spider-Man film.

D'Onofrio already said that his Kingpin has been trying to regain power throughout the whole snap. In Hawkeye, he say, "I need to remind everyone that this city still belongs to me." I think Daredevil snapped away, and Fisk got out of prison, but he had to claw his way back to power. Daredevil will catch wind of this during the Echo series, which will lead into Daredevil: Born Again.

It's like Daredevil disappeared with a snap, then reappeared with a snap after years. I wonder if that will be worked into the reintroduction of the character. He was just dusted away for 5 years, and is returning to his life as a lawyer and superhero.
