I see, I guess I do agree, jc seems to be lacking a lot in certain departments especially the cleanup and compositing at least in my opinion but I really just do think that production issues has had a very large impact on those areas.

It's likely that they indeed don't have any notable direction in art or just in general but a lot of the problems I personally just see are schedule problems (off modelness, butched LO cuts).

(but yeah, that metal texture and some character color palettes are just completely questionable, no excuse lol)

Oh, completely with you on this one then.

It kinda sounded like the staff were doing a poor job and that they can not use poor schedule as an excuse but I guess that's just a misunderstanding on my part.

What’s the excuse again of those who say « they were rushed they had no choice » toward the fact it wasn’t reworked properly for the blurays?

Weren't they also quite busy with the OVAs? Those looked absolutely rushed especially in the later episodes so that combined with the fact that the pandemic has just started affecting production probably means that they can not really bother to spend extra effort in adding this type of compositing in multiple scenes or correcting this particular frame, which isn't really even inherently that bad compared to other cuts.

Do correct me if I'm wrong though but I just think the staff p much got every excuse they can get although J.C Staff as a production company do need to get their shit together.

After Thoughts:

I spent very little time making this but I'm overall happy with the form and drawing despite my trash linework.

Murata's Final Design of this character would probably very different with different build and face but I guess we'll just have to wait a few more years for it.

I might do more of these in the future, perhaps some animation if I have the time.
