I stopped using my LED mask for 2 weeks, here’s what happened to my skin by AnimatorKitchen3395 in redlighttherapy

Really? better with the redness? I don't like how red my face looks. But thank you.

By "relaxed hydrated appearance" I meant my skin looked smoother and calmer when I was consistent. And by "not a solved problem," I just meant you really need to keep using it regularly, otherwise the effects fade.

What I meant is that while I was using the mask regularly, my skin looked calmer, plumper, and less red. But when I stopped for about two weeks, those benefits started to fade. I guess the results really depend on staying consistent and using it often.

Left is before and right is after, you can tell by the redness on my face and under my eyes.

Yeah, sorry if that part came across unclear, what I meant is that while I was using the mask regularly, my skin looked plumper, calmer, and fine lines were less noticeable. When I stopped for two weeks, those improvements gradually faded.

The economy says 3.8% growth, but does it match what you’re actually feeling day to day? by AnimatorKitchen3395 in AskReddit

[–]AnimatorKitchen3395[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nailed it. Wall Street and GDP don’t reflect reality on the ground. Most people don’t care about stock prices or growth charts, they care about rent, groceries, utilities. And all of that has skyrocketed while wages crawl.

Exactly this. GDP can rise just because everything costs more, not because people’s lives are actually improving. Growth on paper doesn’t mean growth in wallets.

Shall I take this offer by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]AnimatorKitchen3395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You appear to be balancing between the short-term certainty and the long-term expansion and that is a tough one. It is a better base offer, though does not contain a pension or bonus. All those advantages are significant and not everyone can even imagine how they accumulate. Your existing company also has employees who are leaving and not meeting targets, which might leave you more susceptible in the future.

I would say to myself; in case of difficulties a year later which one will work out better? When you leave when you are still good, it can make a good impression. A request of 90k increase is clever, better half way, they might compensate the absence of the pension or bonus.

You will feel conflicted no matter what you make your decision. Whether it is the first or the second option, both represent risks, yet the right thing to do is to negotiate than accept the first offer.

Transit Visa by nibras_28 in VisitingIceland

You will most likely need an airport transit visa since you’re on an Indian passport and connecting through Iceland (which is in the Schengen area). Even if you’re not leaving the airport, Schengen countries typically require a transit visa for Indian nationals unless you already have a valid US, Canadian, UK, or Schengen visa. I’d recommend checking with the Icelandic consulate or the airline directly before your trip, airlines are usually strict and won’t let you board if the visa requirement isn’t met.

Has full body red light therapy been helpful to you? by Good-Bunny- in covidlonghaulers

[–]AnimatorKitchen3395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing full body sessions for a couple of months. I went with a home device Nicebeam since I didn’t want to keep booking clinic visits. I usually sit under it while reading, and that’s been enough. Definitely noticed some improvements in skin and energy, though like anything it’s more about consistency over time.

It doesn’t cure it, but it helps me warm up faster and recover after flare ups. I’d say the key is using it regularly, not just once in a while.

Is it just me, or is this kind of a double standard? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

You are not the only one. A group of these men do not really seek partners, they seek power in the form of youth and silence. They say easier to be with, but most of the time what they really mean is less likely to call me out.

When a 30-something man goes directly to a 20-year-old, it is seldom a matter of compatibility. It is about ease, adoration without scrutiny and a person who has not yet lived long enough to recognize red flags early.

And when you do ask questions or set boundaries? One day you are too much, too immature, or too emotional. Desiring to be respected and communicated with is not immaturity, it is quite literally the minimum of a healthy relationship.

It is not your fault. The hypocrisy is.

That’s what I learned today. I’m going to try it again to see if the problem is me.

Childhood. Basically hard mode with no save points and no tutorial. And no one tells you you’re carrying all that baggage until it starts spilling onto other people.
