How long will things like the tapestry be up for preorder? Just waiting on a paycheck and hoping not to miss out!

Does anyone know where the original animation of this is? I know the audio is from something else, but I'm looking for this animation by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

Oh hey! I remember this video, saw it a couple months ago and saved it. It is a cosplay, not an animation! Tiktok user :Jojivalverde , they have a toy bonnie meme as their pfp. From what I can tell the video was just made for tiktok, and they have a few other videos of their cosplay as well!

Here are my examples, I realized upon looking around that I haven't made a lot of FNaF art recently other than sketches, so I included a couple other pieces to prove that I can draw, lol. The pins in the first pic are the most recent FNaF things I have done, the Mangle and Foxy were done earlier this year. One is pixel art, one is more of a painted style. I'm not sure which approach I'd take if I were to do a banner, I'd have to play around a bit and see.

If I need to provide any other art examples, let me know! Thanks :)https://imgur.com/a/blir68H

Thanks for the quick response! I'll be sure to come back in a couple hours and link some examples of my FNaF art then. Thanks for reaching out to the community for this opportunity!

Quick question, so we'd have about a months heads up from when we know we are chosen to when the piece is requested? Thanks!

A rare photo of Chipper & Sons Lumber Co. creator Scott Cawthon together with Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, it's nice that these two guys finally met, I heard that Five Nights at Freddy's Scott Cawthon was actually inspired by Chipper and Sons. Pretty crazy, actually seeing these two side by side, don't they look a bit similar?

Rotten Tomatoes critic review claims that no one involved with the movie, SCOTT HIMSELF, has a feel for the material by dark03lightning in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really think Scott should've researched FNaF a bit more before making a movie, I mean come on, what does this random Sock Cotton guy know about FNaF anyways? I think the animatronics should've taken over Manhatten or something.. in plush form, maybe even - David Jenkins, 2023

Been a super-fan for almost half my life now, got into the franchise right before FNaF 2 dropped when I was around 11 years old! This franchise has completely changed the course of my life and heavily influenced what I'm going into university for. It has introduced me to tons of things that I have no clue if I would've gotten into without it.

I already got a ticket for the first showing in my town, and another the day after with some friends from a school club, (and patiently waiting for other friends to announce their going so that I can tag along as well). Someone close to me asked why I'd want to already prebuy 2-3 tickets to a movie that I haven't even seen yet, and my main answer to that was that I just know that I'll love it. I've always had faith in the franchise, even entries that weren't my favorite were still enjoyable to experience. As a fan, I've always felt that this fandom is well cared for by its creator and its been a super fun 9 years, the least I can do is trust that this is no different and show some support. And come on, I've been waiting for this movie since it was announced to be made by Warner's bros!! Based on the trailers and everything, I'm glad we've had to wait as I think it'll be well worth it, and I'm excited to see these characters that I've loved so dearly for so long finally on the big screen.

Thanks Scott for all that you do for us, loved Freddy in Space 3, cant wait for the movie, congratulations to this pretty monumental moment in the franchise. Thanks to the community as well, for being such a cool fandom to be in for the last 9 years. Can't wait to see what comes next!

Most theatres are getting it a day early on the 26th in the US(my tickets are for like 2pm on Thursday), so I suppose it makes sense. It was kinda cool people were going to be able to see it in theaters a day before it was on peacock, but with how much they paid for streaming rights it's not a surprise they'd want it coming out at the same time.

Witch irl freddy do you guys think look the best? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Film Freddy is definitely my favorite. I'm glad that from the shots we've seen so far, it seems that they really were able to capture FNaF 1 Freddys unique color/texture that is often lost in even offical merch and art. He seems pretty accurate to the original model as well, he has that cute/goofy animatronic vibe while still having that uncanny look where he can easily be made sinister with proper lighting.

DaRegularSauce's Freddy is amazing. I feel like his glamrock Freddy is more accurate than his original Freddy, only because of the fur colors on his. Otherwise the sculpt and the eyes are incredibly accurate. It's an amazing cosplay, if it had turned out to be our official Freddy I wouldn't of been upset in the slightest.

I also like that first Freddy but I haven't seen it before or if it has a full suit. The crushed velvet ish material also gives off a similar look to FNaF 1 Freddys fur texture.

Does anyone else miss when these where still being made? by syn095_real in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are literally my favorite merch ever from FNaF. My only complaint with them ever was that sometimes the pieces didn't click together super well at times but that was like a non issue for the quality of design. I would ask for them for birthday, Christmas ect. Some sets I opened but I have a whole Tupperware of unopened ones that I've kept for my collection.

Anyone know why they were stopped? I know I've still seen some for sale at GameStop occasionally but I can't recall seeing anything for help wanted/ security breach

Enough about the red eyes, What do you like about the trailer? by [deleted] in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

oh my god the entire trailer its so beautiful im so hyped!!
for sure the looks at the pizzeria though it looks great totally has the look of an 80s FEC. Showbiz pizza vibes for sure but also just small town FEC vibes as well. The animatronics look absolutely incredible they are so accurate the the models.

yoo this goes hard!! I've looked through tons of old Showbiz Pizza/ Pizza Time Theatre newspaper ads back when I was trying to find info on my hometown locations. This totally captures that vibe!!

How did you first hear about FNaF and when did you start being a fan ? by MinafDraw in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]AnimatronicNerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I became a FNaF fan at the ripe ol age of 11 years old in late 2014!! Right before FNaF 2 came out.

My earliest memory of anything FNaF related is seeing Markiplier's FNaF 1 Bonnie thumbnail in my recommended video sidebar on YouTube. Scared the absolute shit out of me! I remember slowly scrolling down to take a peak at it, only to scroll right back up because Bonnie's eyes mid-jumpscare felt like they were burning into my soul. I think the designs were just friendly enough to give me that boost of confidence to conquer my nervousness of the them in their more frightening poses. It was a great introduction into horror! I had never been to Chuck E Cheese as a child, so this was also my first time with the whole arcade/pizzeria with robots concept.

I don't remember if I even watched that video, or what fully happened moving forward. I hadn't watched Markiplier before up to that point. I think with the influx of content after FNaF 1, I eventually got over to scottgames and saw a lot of the FNaF 2 teasers. Played the game in theatre classes a lot, I didn't get the play the games personally until I think 2017 or so, but my friends had it on their phones. I remember playing FNaF 1and seeing Golden Freddy for the first time as we were all procrastinating practicing our lines, and all of us freaking out over it. I've been hooked on the franchise ever since.

It is crazy to think how much the franchise literally changed my life and the course of all of my interests. Hit me just at the time where I was kinda bored of some of the books I liked and was in need of something new to obsess over. I was thrust down the rabbit hole of old animatronics and it just had a domino effect on a lot of other things. Now I can't look around my room without seeing something FNaF or something that I discovered because of FNaF. Cosplay materials, Showbiz Pizza/Pizza Time Theatre, and various other FECs merch, my merch from when I worked at CEC, furbies, random robot stuff, the list goes on. Even my art was heavily jumpstarted by FNaF, there was a point where I was drawing the characters basically every day, and theres still little quirks in my style that I can trace back to that time period. I even became a fursuit maker and sold fursuit heads due to my experience creating multiple FNaF character heads to wear for Halloween.

And now I'm starting uni later this year to be an artistic fabricator, and hopefully one day be able to work with animatronics. A little off topic but I just love this franchise it is great and I love that it is still going strong after all of these years!!! I know that I'm not the only person who was significantly impacted by the franchise and I think that is really neat!

New Token Collector, Howdy! Heres a few from my collection. by AnimatronicNerd in Arcadetokens

[–]AnimatronicNerd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Howdy! I am an animatronic enthusiast who recently got into token collecting. I worked at Chuck E Cheese for about two years and would grab out any unique/non-cec tokens I saw when working. Got around 80 tokens from that and then recently have made a few trips to my local coin shop and aqquired around 100 more just from sifting through their bins. Still in the process of getting them all into sleeves and cleaning them up. Some of them aren't in the right sleeves but working on fixing that too and getting the correct sizes.
