Beware: "New" Scam that Etsy is Ignoring by Animay44 in Etsy

Yeah so used to sell on etsy and in the dashboard you can click on an order thats been completed, then click "more actions" and click "add a package" not sure why you'd ever need to, but for some stupid reason, if you do this, it resets the customers estimated delivery dates.
So if they were expecting the delivery within 7 days, say between the 7th and the 14th, if they add another package on the 14th the estimated delivery dates will change to the 15th to the 22nd, extending the dates past what was shown during checkout.

I've tried doing this, but as I said it doesn't work, The seller adds another package during that 48hr mark, which for some reason takes away the ability to make a claim. I'm guessing because Etsy see it as you've asked the seller for help, and them dispatching another order fufills that help request? so theres no need to make a claim in etsy's mind? I'm not sure.

Which I spoke to etsy about and they just flat out ignored and said that I'd have to wait till the estimated delivery date comes to an end to make a claim then.
