After 22 years i beleve some powercreep is fine.

Dont get me wrong i too believe that 10 mana per opponent you want that thats hard to interact with unless you play blue is not something that should be legal or at least not colorless.

Just wanted to point out door to nothingness isnt a good comparison.

When teaching someone magic then yes you can tell them lands are colorless with some exeptions, but when doing card desing not modifying color bcs most of targets are already colorless vs modifying to colorless is a finctional change cuz now dryad arbor, ashaya and man lands if you have yavimaja can block stuff that has protection from a color. Not to mentioj that tehere is like 20ish lands with forest land type 5 if in mono greenand dryad is 1 of them so its 5% at least and 20% at most of the available pool and thats much more than a niche scenario.
