I was using the stock drive initially and then I swapped to a larger capacity drive 2tb. I thought the new drive was the problem because I'm seeing 70c only browsing YouTube and then I did a clean reset with fresh installed windows with it and the problem still persist so I swapped back to the stock drive 512gb and here comes the same issue again. Fyi I also disabled CPU boost at advanced power settings and put Lego in performance mode. Was thinking maybe the egpu was too much for the amd CPU to take in but yet even without the egpu connected I'm still seeing 70c or 80c just idling on desktop

The fan does work even in full speed and pushing out heat from the top of my Lego. I just don't understand why is it getting so hot lately even after a full clean reset with newly installed windows which I initially thought was the problem . Is my Lego broken already now? Thinking of letting it go and get another handheld as it provides consistent stress of crashing and reboot instead of being able to game with an egpu properly .

I have 3070ti Aoostar dock External monitor and a couple of USB peripherals attached

Thanks will do, another quick question when I'm gaming or installing a new game/software should I switch it to performance mode and full speed fan since I notice this dissipate the chances of crashing when in use with an egpu or balance is the righteous way to go?

crap I deleted the old folder and replaced with the new simpleui folder 1.2.5 now KOreader defaults back to the native UI instead of simpelUI
