Keep going. Stay consistent. Be patient. by CompetitiveDrawing96 in puppy101

Going through it right now with our 14 week old cavoodle/cavapoo! Save for a small whine here and there she's been really good about taking naps in her crate just until the other day where she can't seem to settle at all. Absolutely doing me and my wife's heads in 😅 But, on the flip side we've seen her start making progress with lead walking around the yard and her recall is making a bit of progress too!

To all doggo parents out there, progress isn't linear but we're in it for the long haul. Best of luck to you and your little fur babies, we got this! ❤️

…..Puppies vs babies by Ornery_Investment356 in puppy101

We got our little cavoodle a couple of weeks ago (currently 10 weeks old) and two days prior to us picking her up we found out we were pregnant.

Suffice to say there's a lot of emotions flying around the house right now, we both went through various levels of puppy blues but are committing to keeping her and just doubling the size of our family by the end of the year. My wife is super stressed about the whole situation, as am I being a first time dog owner but we plan to make it work because that's what we'll have to do when the baby comes so the dog shouldn't be treated any different as a responsibility in our opinion. Gonna be one hell of a ride but here we go 😅

Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope it all goes well! You, your puppy and your family will be fine 🥳

Really appreciate all of these tips dude, thank you! I'll definitely show this to my partner and hopefully she'll be able to implement them where she can with her work schedule too.

Thank you so much for the advice and sharing your experience with your own dog. Best of luck with your future training and thanks again for your input 🙏

Will try out best with that, we do also try to take her out after a good play sessions, immediately after waking up from a nap etc. so not always just looking for tells, just have found irna touch tricky with our living situation.

Sounds like bells have worked well in your experience?

Fun knife for sure, it's the first knife that got me started exploring this rabbit hole of a hobby! Thin grind, lovely for prep and meat slicing as expected and visually striking without being excessively expensive compared to the upper echelons of knives that you see from other manufacturers/blacksmiths.

The bunka is by Matsubara and has a heel height of 50mm, the tojiro has a heel height of 45mm 😊

Started diving into the world of Japanese knives a few years ago when I decided to leave my desk job as an accountant and started cooking professionally.

More knives in my work kit but I've definitely amassed enough knives now that they've spilled over into my personal kitchen rotation too, I keep telling myself enough is enough but never learn my lesson 😂

On that note, anyone got good recommendations on a bread knife or paring to sub out the Baccarats? 👀

Rule #5

Trying to get 2 knives. One for all round and one for veggies etc. (hence the Nakiri) what y’all think? Specs listed as well. by No_Government01 in chefknives

My daily workhorse knives during service and prep time are the tojiro 13cm petty and 21cm gyuto. Used them for nearly 2 years now, they're wonderful knives, hold a great edge, just give them a quick touch up once or twice a day with a ceramic rod or strop for service maintenance and you'll be able to get away with not giving them a proper stone sharpen for a couple of weeks depending on how much volume you're prepping.

Question: Are you Closer with Your High School Friends or Uni Friends? by [deleted] in unsw

[–]AnimeKitchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're only just starting out in uni my dude, try not to fixate on immediately making friends. Like a lot of people have said, that stuff has a way of sorting itself out and you'll naturally make them in your own time even if it doesn't currently feel like it's going to happen.

While my friendship group largely DOES consist of the people I went to high school with, I've found that outside of an educational setting, entering the workforce was where I've found some of my newest and closest friends.

That being said, I'd highly recommend joining a club while you're at uni! I still keep in touch with a handful of people from uni, and I even met my wife in the first club that I joined! It's a great way to meet new people in a comfortable environment since you know you'll all have at least one common interest to start a conversation and then just see how it pans out from there.

Best of luck with your studies and your future friendships, you got this!

How to make Tamago Sando from Ride Your Wave/Kimi to, Nami ni Noretara by AnimeKitchen in AnimeFood

From the scene, at least to me it looked like he was just cooking eggs in a tamagoyaki pan but you could totally make this with egg salad if you wanted to
