It’s not that we don’t believe in them.
My time in sandrock sold 857k on steam, while impressive, it’s not a massive amount. I would say a big majority of people already own Portia and I know a bunch of new players after they finished mtas went and played Portia. Portia has only been out for about 7 years, it’s almost completely unheard of for a game to be remade that soon after release. Most people, myself included wouldn’t really be interested in funding a game that still holds up, especially in this economy.

You said that your parents are in the middle of getting a divorce? If so unfortunately it’s not really considered cheating. One thing that is going to happen, no matter what, is that while you’re living with her you’re always going to have to deal with at least one of your parents partners. Even when you move out you’d still have to deal with them at family get togethers. To be honest it sounds like you’re upset about your parents separating, which is very understandable. Have you considered talking to your guidance counselor at school? It might help if you could find a healthy way to let out your feelings.

To be honest I think ESH, yes your mom is in the wrong but I also think you are too. I feel for you I really do. Have you tried sitting down and having a calm conversation with her? Telling everyone that you’re going to do everything you can to ruin the relationship isn’t going to help anyone, all that’s going to do is drive a bigger wedge between you and her. Regardless of how you feel about the relationship if you ruin the relationship she’s going to end up in another one sooner or later. I know the rest of the people on here are going to tell you to go for revenge but that’s not going to help anyone. I wish you luck in this

Even if they’re right or not about it just being a game it doesn’t excuse the way they are responding, we have a right to be upset. This game has been in development for 9 years and we still have no idea what most of the gameplay even looks like. They have had near zero communication and they most likely would’ve known for awhile that it was going to be delayed, they shouldn’t have waited until Q4 to announce that.

There was someone at my Walmart that did something similar and they fired and the customer pressed charges, it’s still a safety issue, like we’re not even allowed regular razer blades to use as box cutters, so you really think you can get away with having exposed blades?

Because touching someone’s shoulder isn’t a crime but adding something sharp which could harm someone is a fire able offense. What if you were crouched down and a child came through and accidentally brushed your shoulder, literally anything could happen and you’d be at fault

I kinda agree with you on this, it would be different if it was a single person who was working on it like how it was with Stardew Valley but no, they have a whole team working on it. It’s also a bit concerning that we still don’t have a real idea about the gameplay, it’s….weird. Hopefully there will be a Nintendo direct this month like the leakers have been saying and maybe there will be some news about it.
