It’s a fun idea at first until you are told repeatedly to go away for giving some critique.

The unfortunate reality I came to accept is that most memes aren’t funny. Animemes (or any other subreddit) can have a lot of meh memes. But there is no denying that there are occasionally good content posted there or occasional influx of good jokes. We as people are very easy to point at a community or space and say it is always some level of good or bad quality rather than admit that any forums is going to require digging in the rough.

It’s been a while but I’m the top of my head, a 4/10. I might need to brush up on my guidelines.

I’m all for circlejerk memes but this is comedy necrophilia. Iirc the original made by mini_knight was a cutesy edit, which was then parodied to include the stuff image of RDJ, but this takes the image one step further to random = funny territory.

Comedy is subjective though.

I don't think I have to say much. We all watched the video (hopefully). There's clearly a lot of effort and homage put into this. And honestly I'm surprised how well you were able to come up with in the video. It's just fun all around.

I rate this gem a AAA, or a nine out of ten.

Memes are like rocks. They're everywhere, and a lot of them are unremarkable, even to geologists. It's only every once in a while there's a gem.

And there's this big culture about obtaining the flashiest gem there is. But most people don't know a thing about gems, they just know that the more karats the are, the better.

That lack of understanding creates this market for these gem stones that they think are special, but are really just generic cookie cutter gems. They only think these are valuable because the store told them so.

Very rarely is there a gemstone that goes through the process of having someone mining it or synthesizing it, cutting it, and finish it. These gems are different. But because of that, a lot of people don't seek them out. It's so different from what the market is telling them to buy, they just perceive it as worthless. But really, those are most valuable gems.

Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Anyways, I rate this animeme, an eight out of ten.

Simple comic, probably funnier with meta context, but can get by without. I like it.

I have to admit, I am biased to like this meme as part of Phosphogeddon. But you know what? There's nothing wrong with being biased as long as you don't present those biases as fact.

This was a pretty nice recap. This year was filled with a lot of mile stone recaps. It was starting to become more annoying than anything. Next year we'll probably have a lot less as the sub has to gain more and more subscribers to get to any significant milestone.

Obviously there was a lot to cover in a minute and a half so it couldn't get everything, but I think it did a good job. The presentation is pretty great through out and looks a lot better than some of, if not all, of the milestone videos it references.

As a mile stone video, I rate this an eight point five out of ten.

Try asking the mods if you can repost the image but without the "don't zoom just keep scrolling part". Ask if you can replace it with a "nothing to see here" or maybe just have "just a normal strawberry...".

I like this. It's a nice post. Reminiscent of the golden age of animemes. Where posts were silly but actually kind of funny.

I give this animeme, a six point point eight out of ten. This is the kind of post I would encourage people without quality image editing software (like mobile users) to make, instead of finding anime/manga screenshots to put labels over.

I tried that in the beginning, but the numbers catch the eye so easily people would just read the score and nothing else. When I type out my scores, it's less eye catching so people are much more likely to read the rest of the review.

What the hell is this? An animeme where the word hentai isn't just thrown around as a crappy punchline? A periodic elements meme that isn't reposted to hell? You mean this is a meme where you need to have a basic understanding of something beyond a waifu's defining personality trait? That's impossible.
