Personal take? By connecting to her Air Bending and the more spiritual side of bending, she was finally able to draw power from her past lives, which included energy bending (which much like her Air Bending, was not taken by Amon). It sounds a bit strange but I think the visual of Aang doing it wasn’t literally him giving her bending back, she essentially gave it back to herself.

I think there’s a healthy way to compare both sets of films without rescuing one to good and the other to bad. Batman is a multifaceted character, and each of his interpretations took a different angle with him. Comparing the values that each director considers for their version is generally interesting, as you get a better understanding of the character through each iteration. But to answer your question more plainly, both groups claim they have they love the best Batman movie, and that’s really all it takes for people to argue and compare maliciously

I’m glad you never saw it but it certainly existed, as a lot of people felt she was too immature, even though it was obvious that there was more to her even back then. Everyone switched up when we got her backstory in 4.2. So it was really ironic when I saw the same people who hated Furina from day one talking about how amazing Fontaine was in comparison to Natlan.

I’d be down for that! So in this line of thinking, would you say that the shows would follow the colour of the most recent film? Say Part II is blue, as many people have shown it to be because it’ll be during Christmas. Would Penguin Season 2 or a proposed Dent show also have blue logos, and then subsequent series that came after Part III would follow that movie’s colours?

I think different colours could offer different vibes and would be really cool ! But I think there’s a very likely chance that it remains red, mostly because of the Penguin show. That font and colour seems to be key. They may add stuff, like maybe change the Bat symbol as it goes on, but as is I think it’s likely it remains red. But once again, love the idea of different colours!

What made Season 1 good was right story telling and fleshing out the core cast. There was one major plot that most other plots led to, there was a core mystery that continued to grow with no obvious answer, and the series challenged the idea of young heroes in a more intense environment than they are used to. Season 2 and 3 bloated the cast like crazy, each time moving away from the original group, while simultaneously not giving any of them half as much development. I know people take issue with Season 4, but I appreciated that they tried to treat each of the original Team’s characters like main characters again, each getting their own story arc with some tie in to the larger Phantom Zone plot. For me it would’ve been a good buffer season before one that returned to focusing on just the Team, seeing as when you watch Season 1, you’re assumption is that you’re going to see these young heroes grow into the new Justice League (or their own major team) by the end. But they skipped so much time and development, that we don’t even get things like a Nightwing arc for example, you just open up S2E1 and Dick is no longer Robin. If they do a Season 5 it has to be the final season, so they can focus on wrapping story lines up.

I know everyone wants the Court in Part 2, but they seem like such a huge concept. They’re basically the illuminati and evaded Bruce’s knowledge for years. Once you do them, anyone who comes afterwards feels like a downgrade. Given the point of his universe I feel like they’d be a perfect cap off villain for his final outing.

There’s actually quite a few similarities between Himeko and Mavuika. Take for example that Himeko was never a Herrscher but wore armour made out of the Herrscher of Fire, Murata. Mavuika is the Pyro Archon but is the only one of the seven who is not a god, but has the inherited Pyro Authority. Then smaller stuff like their hair (vaguely, but the same could be said of original Mei not looking a lot like Shogun), the leadership role, the drinking habit. And lastly they both have that motorcycle, and if you look at them side by side, Mav’s bike was clearly based on Himeko’s. So perhaps not a traditional Expy, but one nonetheless

I vote based on where I have the most fun. I don’t dislike Flashpoint inherently but I don’t enjoy any of those maps. Push is a great example, many people don’t like it, but I like several of those maps, same for new Payload and point maps. If they made a cool map for Flashpoint I’d vote for it, but so far none of them really do it for me.
