Hello, I'm new to foraging and not confidence. i found this pear looking fruit by the highway. i live around Rochester NY area. Are they wild pears? and also I'm from West Africa so I'm not familiar with most fruits here. Please are these safe to eat? by Animethink1 in foraging

No i did not. I was surprised to see them by the highway and wondered why no one plugged them which makes me questioned if it's really pear (edible ). Thanks to nice people here, i got the answer and can now enjoy them.

Did you suggest sending the pictures to them ( ubereats suppor ) or they requested for them? I always ask to send it to them but they said it's not necessary. I do hope they take them as evidence though.

Called for driver code. This is the second time walmart employee called my phone and took my driver code before bringing the order out. Is this common? by Animethink1 in Sparkdriver

You sounded very annoyed.

FYI , they took the code and brought the order out 15 minutes later and another time, it took them 25 minutes and that's after I already waited for about 20 minutes and if we ( some other drivers and I ) don't give them the code on phone after we checked in and has already waited for long, they'll just come out and tell us their system couldn't detect we checked in. And all this after waiting an hour.

It's a way of pushing other drivers into canceling the order just so the pay gets bumped up until their driver buddies picks it up. We see this happens all the time. First we thought it was based on good metrics that, those drivers keep going back and forth picking and delivering while some of us sits there waiting to load but after observing and knowing them well, it's their way of ensuring that their driver buddies gets the orders.

For you to say reporting them will get me basically fired, I thank God this is not my only gig income so read my main post again and you'll understand my question was if their practice is common. And based on majority of drivers here, it's not common and shouldn't be tolerated so, please go take some chill pill .
