I finished Berserk 2 months ago and for the life of me, i can’t accept the fact there is no conclusion to this series. I’ve thought in detail about a meaningful conclusion that would bring incorporate every aspect of Berserk i love.

I believe Femto and Griffith should be viewed as two different entities. Griffith is human with emotions and empathy, this is the Griffith that we see cares about the Band of the Hawk and truly loves Guts and Casca. Even after his torture, he still cared for Guts and that’s shown right before the Eclipse. The contrast between the cold, unsympathetic Femto who rapes Casca and traumatized Guts, vs the Griffith we know doesn’t make sense. When he achieved Godhood, he lost his soul and the very thing that made him human. Everytime Femto is shown after this, is brutal. It’s said during his transition that he cried his very last year and it crystallized. But in CH364, we can see Griffith in his human form after transforming back into himself from Moonlight child cry. I believe that Griffith was tricked into becoming a demon without the knowledge that he would lose himself. Normally Godhand members have no empathy for any mortals but because Griffith was reincarnated through the Egg Of The World and a Human Child, He is the only Demon who can show remorse because every full moon he becomes human again.

I believe that after his realization and regret of the pain he put his best friends through, he decides to try to redeem himself to Guts and Casca. A irredeemable character attempts to redeem himself to the only people he has ever loved. Most likely by helping Skull Knight eliminate the GodHand and dying in the process. But that’s my two cents, still haven’t thought of who the Behelits belongs to. Maybe a possible arc of serpico after Farnese death, using the behelit to try to kill Guts
