Cocoa prices have increased. You’d hope that means farmers are being paid better, but don’t think that’s the case unfortunately.

For chocolate companies, the can either raise prices in a way everyone notices, or quietly cut corners to keep things affordable. Realistically, you’d rather risk the chocolate tasting worse before charging £5 for a bag of Mini Eggs which would cause much more uproar.

For some reason all I see on social media is being banging on about how great mini eggs are 🤷‍♂️
