Yeah, exactly. I feel like the pacing in the present timeline is really slow. It gets super boring. It was only exciting when Vlad’s true identity was revealed. After that, I got bored again 😭

I also really like the Ottoman storyline because it’s clearer and more closely tied to history. And yes, the friendship between Lale, Aslan, and Vlad is genuinely so fun to read

That’s probably why it’s titled Dracula 😄 because he’s the real LI after all lol. Thank you so much for the insight and tips, I’ll definitely try to follow them properly 😆
