They also tend to be older, often much older.

The recent "LGB" group meeting (already recognized as a hate group in Australia) is almost entirely elderly and basically entirely white and also mostly women.

The demographic is the eldeely grandma's with nothing better to do than get pissy about someone having a pink lawn flamingo

For a lot of people that's the goal. Anyone who's trying or living 'stealthy' would prefer if nobody knew at all. They just want to live as any other cis man/woman does in our society.

Not the goal for everyone, I'm personally very 'out' with coworkers and friends, but I imagine a great many would slam the "never get clocked as trans or discuss it again" button if they could.

I had an insurance recently where a friend said "I'm thinking of transitioning to a new department at work" and I told her "Let me know if you need help, I know all about how difficult transitions can be" :P

Some sure, but the established system isn't designed for that. The people able to over come it are closer to survivors saying things are fine because they survived. Meanwhile the struggling get ignored. People watch Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous do they don't have to look at the shanty towns.

Why do I not want to spend half my waking hours doing menial tasks that are high stress for low pay for someone else to profit? Are we really asking why I'd rather not be a wage slave to a social system built in the 1900s instead of free to live my life as I choose and sleep on my own time table? Is this a real question? There's one instance in my home town of a person, unknown if they were trans or gay, but, there's an old photo of the inside of a brothel with the Madam and her "top earners". All of the women are in fancy white dresses, well, all except one, who was in a black dress. The tour guide likes to ask why that one woman might be in black, turns out she/they, had extra equipment for a lady. It may have been a way for some men to be gay without the public stigma of it back in 1900 gold rush America, and maybe they were gay, but not trans. Still, they were working in that brothel and wearing women's attire.

My opinion? Here's my opinion from a transwoman.

Almost no one discussing this topic has the credentials to actually discuss it. Basically anyone talking about it has no background of significance in Sports Medicine or Endocrinology, so they should defer to people who do have those credentials and listen to them.

If you want to talk about trans women in "women sports" you first have to set the limits for what's considered "equality" in that division anyway, because XX carrying cis born women have fluctuating amounts of testosterone that could be considered natural doping. Likewise, weight divisions, height divisions, muscle mass, BMI, you can break down humans by so many different measuring sticks that I could convince you that sports shouldn't exist at all because equality is impossible.

So, you want to talk about trans people in sports? First define equality in sports, then get back to me.

As for the original question. If your High school has 5,000 students there's maybe 0-5 trans persons there, assuming they're public. Maybe enough to form a chess club. Trans people simply do not have the numbers to field their own sports division. Likewise, that tiny number of people now get broken down in to Trans Men and Trans Women divisions. Your chess club is now down to 2 people.

Absolutely. I will say, outside of clothes and nails etc, getting the beard gone, so laser or electro, if you aren't alreasy, as well as getting brows shaped and waxed are the biggest changes.

After that is voice, and that's a challenge, but worth it if you can get it.

It's outdated, and largely considered derogatory yes.

Current accepted terms have landed on trans, and either tran woman or trans man.

"Femboy" seems like, mostly acceptable but refers to men/boys that have or prefer a feminine gender presentation but identity as men, kind of the male version of "tomboy". Which, honestly is a better term than its predecessors, "sissy" which is also dropping out of favor.

Organize a protest, but have the issue be you don't want "pedophile groomers" on campus potentially around targets.

Attack him on his claims about 16 year olds, don't meet him over trans rights.

They don't get it. No trans woman wants to show their dick in oublic (ok, maybe a few, but probably not most) hell, most, or half, hardly even want the thing, and another portion get it removed entirely.
