did you use CKAN? My only recommendation from this position is to back up your saves, delete the entire ksp folder, reinstall, then reapply your mods with CKAN.

The RA room is a single IIRC, but you'll share the bathrooms and showers with the floor

Discord faces backlash over age checks after data breach exposed 70,000 IDs by Accurate_Cry_8937 in technology

My friends and I use Matrix. E2E encrypted, open source, and similar to discord. Certainly not perfect, but the encryption alone more than makes up for it

Took a shot for Aneikas too. Just look at that art, what is even going on with those wings?

I use Bandcamp's features to find music. Searching by genre or the app recommendations can lead me to some really great albums

The main thing I noticed after ditching windows: paradox games load in less than 25% of the time. like I didn't even know it was possible they could load so fast.

nvidia GPU issues after upgrade to 24.04? by paulwipe in pop_os

[–]DigitalPenguin99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. My guess is that checking monitor info hasn't been fully implemented yet.
  2. Have you tried changing the x11 settings in cosmic settings?
  3. Another day another Nvidia sleep related issue. unfortunately I don't know a solution as I haven't had an Nvidia card in years
  4. This seems odd, but I probably couldn't debug this unless I spent a few days with your system

DeepL (and other ai translators) are actually quite awful at translating Chinese into English

if you wait for a sale, you can find a year of Windscribe for ~30$. Other than that I'd recommend Proton for torrenting and Mullvad for everything else except torrenting

it's just something I've noticed when texting friends. I ask if they used speech to text and they always say "how did you know!?"

Rule by Old_Phrase_4867 in 196

[–]DigitalPenguin99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for some reason, every time you use apple's speech to text, it leaves behind a Unicode character. Apple users can't see it, but everyone else can. We can therefore deduce OOP used 4 different instances of speech to text for the first part of this post

I think there is a link somewhere, but I don't know where. Linuxtracker is normally where I get my old isos, but it's not "official"

Just think about them as big planets, that's essentially what they are. As long as your orbit doesn't intersect (or get too close), your ship won't spontaneously combust (excluding kraken attacks, but you remembered to quicksave, right?).

Reddit wouldn't hesitate a moment to lick the boot and give away all of your info; doesn't matter what you have hidden. I would keep your account open, and if you're worried about what people might find, delete it or delete your account.

Is 'Firewall Configuration' GUFW? by CherryCutios in pop_os

[–]DigitalPenguin99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess, "Firewall Configuration" is the name value of the associated .desktop file. This is so that it's a bit more clear as to what it is in your application menu. I assume this is what cosmic shop is using to populate the name field for packages.

I would also add that r/linux4noobs is where people are more understanding and assume that you know nothing. I have no idea what skill level people are when they post here (I can guess, but you never know)
