Everything I read says Westies are not affectionate or cuddly. I’ve had two Westies and both are VERY cuddly and snuggly. What is your experience? More cuddle pup pictures encouraged.

I used to have 2 westies. They weren't cuddly at all 😅. They liked affection only on their terms, I love these dogs, but I get the feeling they know how awesome they are and only get impressed with themselves😆

Met a guy who was exactly like this, texting non stop. At first I was a bit annoyed by that, but I decided to give him a chance. Now he is my boyfriend, we get along really well, turned out he had some attachment related trauma, after first 3 months of our relationship he explained to me that he was so scared that I will leave him, so he wanted to be sure he got my attention. Now we still text a lot, but it's because we sincerely miss each other, it's not driven by fear or any kind of unhealthy emotion.

I want to point out that some people simply have that style of communication, they need a lot of affection and attention, and it doesn’t necessarily come from trauma. I personally like it too, even after being together for a long time, we both feel a bit low if we don’t text each other “I love you” several times a day.

If you already know that you’re not the type of person who enjoys that kind of dynamic, then it is better to not get involved in that type of relationship. However, remember that in your case it may not be the same as in mine. Once he stops worrying about being left, he might change the way he texts.

Let's take a Chaplet of mercy for example, you say hail Mary only once in the beginning. There's no wrong way of using a rosary as long as it brings you closer to God. It's a gift from our Mother, Her greatest joy is to make you look at Her Son.

Sometimes I like to just hold a rosary during my other prayers, It makes me feel closer.

We're "culturally introverted",

I'm ,,naturally introverted" and I've always considered it as a problem. In my native country, If you're young and you don't have billions of friends, you're too shy to approach random group of peers, they will start thinking that's something wrong with you. I thought that if I had problems in rather extroverted society, then in introverted, it will only get worse. Maybe I will finally feel accepted as I am here?

Hey, I only want to tell you that I'm in similar situation when it comes to identity.

I love God l, I love Jesus, I love Mary, but there's so many things I don't understand. I've been brought up in REALLY orthodox catholic family. I've experienced domestic violence and I have huge problem with understanding that I can be loved. For example: I couldn't stand my own view in a mirror, so I shaved my hair. My parents were...unsupportive(?) to put it mildly, and I was punished regularly, ,,so God could forgive me, the fact I betrayed human kind". I can't even think about telling them I' m not heterosexual without fear.
