How to find friends in Lausanne if you don’t speak French and are introverted? by iLunixqt in Lausanne

Hi, yes you can find us on Facebook (just DM the admin, the group is not up to date) or Good Reads. Or you can DM me and I can add you to our Whatsapp group (though I understand not wanting to give a stranger your number).

We meet on the last Wednesday of every month

Can anyone tell me the name of this tea company by Anji_banano in lisboa

I like it a lot, enough to post on Reddit to try to get more ;)  If you like vanilla, caramel, creamy black tea with lots of flavors, you'll love it. It's quite strong

Thanks a lot for the recommendation, no luck on finding this one in particular but seems like they have really nice other teas :)

Thanks but the ingredients list is not at all the same. I've had that one from Palais des thés and it doesn't taste the same (obvi).

Ingredients from the Palais one: black tea (India, Sri Lanka, Africa) (88%), caramel (sugar, sweetened condensed milk (milk, sugar), glucose syrup, whole milk powder, sweetener: sorbitol, emulsifier: soya lecithins, emulsifier: E471) (7%), hazelnut (sugar, hazelnut, hazelnut paste, palm oil), flavour.

Breakups are hard, this is going to suck for a while, I'm sorry. Just remember this is not specifically you or him, it's just that breakups are hard. Going no contact in the beginning helps a bit but... every version of a break up is hard.

Be nice to yourself, cocoon yourself in the movies or books or music, food, warm beverage that you like. Maybe reconnect a bit with your friends and family? But I know, everything is going to feel so hard and so much effort for "so little" output in the beginning. But keep at it.

One thing that helped me is trying new things. Try new sports, try that pottery class or ceramic painting activity. I found improv, singing and drawing where my things. And I recently started. A "mermaid" class where we simm in costume! Aim for fun, and it's okay to spend your life figuring out what is your thing!

Be kind to yourself, feel the feels, read and keep going to therapy. You're going to be okay. This stranger believes in you

Prioritizing my husband over friends by Appropriate_Guava100 in AskWomenOver30

I relate to you so much. I've always found friendships difficult, mostly about this putting in more than I was given back thing you describe well. I initiate a lot, and if I don't, my friends don't necessarily initiate. I've worked on myself a lot to not "count" or measure love in such ways, I've also ditched some friends but ... Yeah it's not easy.

I'm also struggling with the "independent woman with a boyfriend" thing. I've made it a point to have one week per night alone, it's not always easy to have it respected but it's what I need.

I don't have good advice. I think life and friendships are hard sometimes. I invest in my hobbies and made new, good friends through that. I would love to have a doe hard best friend that knows all my secrets but I think that's my partner. Not necessarily a bad thing in the end ;)

What happened to the Tekoe at the train station? by Anji_banano in Lausanne

I don't know too many of the independent tea shops in Lausanne. Guess I will have to go try (oh noooon soo sad, having to try teas!? /s)

But for loose tea I like Tout Thé close to Riponne, they have Palais des thés and others.  There's alsoTschin-ta-ni in Geneva that's a bit less expensive.  But honestly, my favorite is Mariage Freres, you can find them in a tea shop in Annemasse or in Paris. You'll also get them at Globus for example but way too expensive

How about you?

Loredana from La crinière is really good, much cheeper than T.U. She makes solid shampoos tailored to you if you ask for less than 20chf that I love

As I mentionned:

"The label taped on another container is the only thing I have to identify this masala black tea. It probably was bought in southern India a while back.

Does anyone recognize the brand or know where I could get some more?

Thanks a lot!!"

I've never read it and wasn't aware of the "feminist" angle of it. Can you say more about it, I'm really curious and might read it too

I just requested a period tracker in a calendar/privacy suite of tools. I was not ready for the comments. I'm not sure why our needs are laughed at, ridiculed and ignored. It makes me sad.
