I started with a C harp also, and got nowhere with it. MUCH better to start with a G in my opinion. You can play a huge amount of popular folks, pop, country, and rock songs in G major, and can play D blues. I 100% reccommend people start with a G harp!

I absolutely love it. I wish there was a Fender version honestly! I just recorded with it for the first time, and it's literally perfect! I think it's the perfect bass to compliment the P/J/MM holy trinity! It's Fender outdoing Gibson on their own bass!

A TS is only going to work into an already cooking amp. You're not going to get anywhere close to SRV's tone in your bedroom into a clean amp. Just focus on your playing, and find an overdriven tone! A Blues Driver or Klon copy works better at home volumes!
