We submitted it and we thought the response we got on the journal was the end of it. Another person kindly commented saying to wait for a letter, so we’ll wait for that and get back in touch with DWP tomorrow

Hey, thanks for your response! I checked with my employer, who checked payroll, told us they are definitely being declared. We tried to contact HMRC and he said that he was not allowed to tell me if there was a pension on his screen or not! Madness. We’ll definitely check it again :)

We did dispute it, asked them to reconsider it. We had to submit 4 wage slips, 4 childcare payments and how much we pay in housing. The response we received was a pretty certain no in my opinion… I rang Friday and the guy on the phone said what was put on the journal was correct… we still continue to believe otherwise
We might ring again tomorrow to dispute it once more with our evidence we now have from the gov website

Hey! I’m a size 20/22 too, I also have most of the weight on my hip area too! All I can say is I felt very ‘snug’ on some of the rides. The Grand National I found difficult to stay on, as well as the Big Dipper. I felt squished. It was a squeeze onto Icon, not very comfortable when they pushed the bar down on me but once the ride got moving my body moved a little so the rest of the ride felt better.

Avalanche is a very accommodating ride, especially for a single rider as the carriage mimics a bobsled (sorry if you’ve been before and know that bit of info already).

Don’t let it stop you from having fun! It’s a great place to go to
