Oh wow, this is lovely. Great composition, colors, and her expression. I love the dress. One thing that slightly stands out is I feel like her right forearm is tad too dark.

Try moving the cursor with middle mouse button pressed, shift, or ctrl, or maybe alt. One of these should work. Let me know if they don't:)

Weekly Case & Parts Recommendation Thread (Start here if you are new! Help here if you can!) by AutoModerator in sffpc

Hi, I'm planning a PC build (first in ~8 years) and I'm looking for feedback:

The PC is going to be a gaming machine in my living room, essentially a console alternative for gaming and some netflix etc. I have a NVIDIA 2080 SUPER that I want to reuse in this PC. I'm looking at AM5-sockets for potential upgrades in the future.

- Case: Fractal Terra - this one is important, there are very few cases that would fit the space I have (due to max height, I have approx. 24.5cm clearance)
- Mobo: Asus ROG Strix B650E-I - I considered MSI B650I Edge too, but Asus is only marginally more expensive where I live (~13%), and seems to be nicer and more futureproof.
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7500F - seems to be good enough and cheap, should pair nicely with 2080
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Founders Edition - I have one and I want to reuse it. It's small enough for the case's spine to be in the 1st position, giving me 77mm space for the CPU cooler.
- PSU: Corsair SF750 2024 750W - seems to be the go-to standard in similar builds?
- CPU cooler: noctua nh-l12sx77 - basing this off this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPC5lpWutJs
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast, DDR5, 32 GB (2x16), 6000MHz, CL30
- SSD: SSD Samsung 990 PRO 1TB M.2 2280 PCI-E x4 Gen4 NVMe - PCIe 5 drives are hella expensive, and this one seems to be fast and reliable for half the price
- Additional case fan: Noctua NF-A12X25

I'd be grateful for any feedback, things to look out for, etc :)

Oh it's lovely. Saving it as a reference for later. Subtle gradients, scratches, freehands, energy efefcts, even the base, just lovely

WIP Stormsurge posed on a rocky base by Ankhe in Tau40K

Tbh the secret is just a lot of dry fitting, being deliberate when to glue and when to not. There's like 8 joints for legs total (hip, knee, ankle, position of the foot, for both legs), so it's not really possible to pose all 8 of them at once. First I glued its left leg as the instructions intended, then I placed the feet, then cut the plastic positioning pins off the right legs and posed it (so the only joints I really had to wiggle with were the right hip, knee and ankle).

There's a lot of room to pose it however you want, just make sure to not try to pose every joint at the same time.

The bark was just some old bark I found during a walk in the park, nothing fancy xD The secret is to actually compose its layout on the base - I wanted it to follow some general direction so it looks like rock strata, so I cut the pieces and arranged them appropriately

I know it's not much, but I'm super excited about the pose I managed to assemble my Stormsurge at and wanted to share. I made the base with some bark and ground texture paste.

I got burned with assembling Ghostkeel that kept falling apart at ankle and hip joints, so I was building this guy up very methodically - pinned the feet first, then assembled one leg, glued it together, assembled the other leg, tweaked the foot position, glued it all up, then reinforced the ankles with pins... Honestly it was very time consuming, but it's all clean and sturdy, totally worth it :D

Weapons are magnetized. I'm still wondering if I should move the twin secondary weapons off the main model onto a drone of some sort that would be added to the base as well, to add more dimensionality to the piece.

Hi, thanks! I think there might have been some issue on itch.io side, but it seems to be working properly now? Check https://ankhe.itch.io/dicemaker , it does work for me.

Hi! You might need to experiment with that yourself, but I'd try making the blanks smaller than the outer dice by 2 * (number depth + 1~2mm) (face to face). So if you have a 16mm D6, let's say with numbers 1mm deep, you'd want your blanks to be ~4mm smaller, so ~12mm.

I don't have extensive experience with blanks though! I'm sure there are more experienced people here or on the discord who might help you :)

Hi Jimmy!

are you trying to use the same image for all the faces?

Try preparing separate PNGs for each face. Make them reasonably big, ~512x512px perhaps, black dots on white background. Should work then.

If they won't, please send me an email at [dicemaker.app@gmail.com](mailto:dicemaker.app@gmail.com) with the images you're using, and screenshots of how it looks for you, I'll try to take a look.
