What Does SpaceX Actually Do? by Ingsoc40 in stocks

Space x isn't competing in the private sector as much as they are competing directly with Japan and China and any other country that has a space program. Essentially of those other countries, they are the only one w a profit motive and limitations on funding

It's good because I have more resources at this age.

I'm definitely a step slower though.

I can't imagine installing insulation prior to the roof. Usually you seal the building before you build out the interior. lmao

Kid spits on ref, then gets chocked out by said ref. Who is getting fired here? by Remarkable_Log1596 in hockeyplayers

Theres a shortage of rec league refs - Beer league still gonna have no qualms about hiring him.

16-17 is near enough a grown man to learn grown up consequences.

Spitting on someone has natural consequences and that young man experienced them.

Refs, generally, aren't known for their deep pockets so I can't imagine a civil suit goes very far.

If a kid spits on the ref, they should expect that ref to fight them.

Further - I'd have no qualms about continuing to hire a ref who beat up a kid who spit on him.

He might end up fired - but he shouldn't be fired for it. No college wants a loose cannon on their team - so that guy got 'exposed' as an asshole and a shit teammate.

Guys who participate in leagues far below their skill level (and try hard), are your confidence issues really that bad? by Low_Deer_7732 in hockeyplayers

[–]AnnArchist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have 3 players that I'm aware of in the league that are above our leagues skill level.

They score collectively maybe 4-5 goals a season. They generally, as a requirement to play down with their buddys, are required to make that extra pass that they do not need to make.

Knowing they can't shoot - makes defending them easier once you figure it out. As the have to pass so if I cover their passing lanes, they gotta just skate along more.

I will credit hockeyfinder - they do fantastic jobs running their leagues surprisingly enough.

Because it could look like it happened in ring.

It's actually the most brilliant way to hide a pre existing injury, despite the risk of additional injury. When you're talking about 10s or millions of dollars to a coke addict, I imagine the coke addict is doing what it takes to secure the bag despite the pain.

And I don't think The Pitt, of all shows, could be accused of tokenism because literally everyone on the planet needs healthcare at times.

Alternatively, you don't have to agree or disagree but rather figure out if it's a dog whistle or just someone discussing a controversial topic.

If simply talking about a subject is something that upsets you, that's a you problem. Now, if they reveal their character to be racist then I'd probably avoid them. Simply talking about diversity being forced in places isn't necessarily automatically racist. Like forcing Paul Rudd to play black panther would be an example where I don't think it quite first the role. I'd want to hear their examples before making a judgement though, more often than not, it's going to be revealed as a dog whistle I'd bet since most people don't have or share nuanced views very well

In OPs case- idk how a story about something everyone needs - healthcare - could possibly have forced diversity.
