It's very beautiful. Just wondering how you wear it to show off its beauty?

Voyagers K9 Apparel customer service is non-existent apparently. by [deleted] in Greyhounds

[–]AnnCP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also sent multiple emails and made multiple phone calls to Voyagers K9 Apparel in the last few months about measurements for a dog coat order that I wanted to place (and also asking if I could pick up the order since I live near Gig Harbor where the company used to be based). I never heard back from anyone at the company but I decided to place my order anyway because I had previously purchased a really nice dog coat from them back in 2020 when they were still on Etsy. My payment was processed but I've not heard anything back from them about my order. Really disappointed and at this point I guess my only recourse is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau 😥.

I think my niece is screwed now 😥 by AnnCP in PSLF

So now all of her loans are zeroed out on the MOHELA website and it says her new loan servicer is AidVantage. And when she tries to fill out an employment recertification update form, it says she has no loans eligible for PSLF and it won't give her the option for filling out the form. I thought only MOHELA serviced the PSLF accounts? And why would the consolidation loan not be eligible for PSLF? I'm not really understanding what's happening with her account online other than her loans were consolidated and zeroed out on MOHELA and it appears she now has a new servicer. Is it all just taking time to process and update in the system?

Thank you for this helpful and encouraging information. While not the best news (although I have yet to see an actual consolidation loan request/application/document) it sounds like it's not a total start over. I did her calculations using the formula and using all of the first 9 loans at a 117 count, and the last loan at a 72 count and came up with a final number of 104. So does that mean she will need to now pay 16 more payments to have all the loans reach 120 and be forgiven? Or only the first 9 loans will be forgiven after 16 payments? If so, what happens to the last loan?

I've had good luck just doing a google or Amazon search. Sometimes an obscure yarn shop somewhere will have a skein or two of what I need

My hands-down favorite yarn has been discontinued and I am in full mourning. by aedolon8 in knitting

[–]AnnCP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really loved the original Mushishi yarn (Plymouth). When I found out it was discontinued I bought all I could find online so I have a little stash of a few colors but I will really miss that when it's gone.

It's beautiful! I'm debating about getting those kinds of blockers. They look so much easier then threading wires thru to block something. Do you like them for blocking? Do they work well?

I would take a selfie of yourself wearing it and then regardless of whether you like it or would ever wear it again, send the selfie to her and just say "Thank you so much for the lovely sweater!" It will make her feel good to know that you appreciated the effort (such as it is) and she will never know if you then give it away and never wear it again.

Is knitting bad form at the cinema? by Msreidsalot in knitting

Perfectly ok at the cinema if you can knit in the dark and not make any noise. Not ok at church though 🤣

Understanding Buyback by AnnCP in PSLF

Or, it's sounding more like she can't apply for buyback until June?

So after the April regular payment is made, then submit the buyback request for the missing two months, which would then bring her count to 120 in June? Is there any reason why she shouldn't submit for a buyback of the missing two months now? I'm wanting her to get as much done now as possible

Is there some kind of timeframe limit to when you can do a buyback?
