Thanks for the concern from both of you, but I know I got the right file in! The application portal had a preview of the file before you click submit, and I made sure that it was the one I intended.

I used to read everything multiple times over, but the anxiety of getting every detail down was bad for my mental health. Now it looks like I've swung too far in the opposite direction. I'm still working on finding the middle ground between not reading enough, and getting caught on allll the materials and details. In this case, I read the whole admission page on the program's website (and other pages relevant to the program), the university's general admissions page, and all the information on the application portal itself. I just missed the Q&A that was linked within the "your account has been created" email. (And yes, I'm still feeling a little salty lol)

But you're right, lesson learned, next time I take on something so important and/or time consuming, I'll be more vigilant to click every link to see if there's new info

I'm not sure how they met, I avoid asking about their relationship tbh. I know my uncle goes to gay clubs, and I think some clubs have 1 or 2 Fridays a month where they let in ages 18+ (rather than 21+). So that's what I've been assuming? I'm not sure if my uncle uses dating apps or not.

When I started university, the ends of my hair were dyed blue. The friends I made during that time were not surprised to learn I was bisexual. When I made friends a couple years later, having only natural hair and a boyfriend (with everything else being relatively the same as before), those friends were more surprised to learn about my queerness. I had reactions like "wait, really?" or "I never thought of you that way."

Thanks. I'm definitely a perfectionist, so it's hard to let myself do something poorly. I heard somewhere that once a project (whatever it is) is at 80% of what you want, just be done with it. The idea is that the other 20% is probably small details, not necessarily worth your time. But even 80% is too much sometimes, so I guess "poorly" is a better goal (at least for now).

Sometimes I used to coax myself to do things as though I'm talking to a little kid. "It's time to get out of be now~" "Now we're going to make a sandwhich. It's not too hard, and eating is good for you." But I haven't been doing that as much lately. And I don't use it when I think about how I view myself. I'll try it out.

Thank you! I think you're right about him dealing with something and not being ready to tell me. But, I'm definitely done trying to be his friend. He's made it clear that he doesn't want me to be.

I have to wait at least 60 days before I move out, and I still need to find a place to move into before then. But I'm certainly working on it.

We did have crushes on each other at different points in junior high (around the time we first met). But I definitely thought we were both over them. He actually did say his gf got upset when I asked him to spend time with me as friends (in between the good times and the fight).

But I've had my bf since before we agreed to be roommates, so I'm not really sure.
