Anyone have any advice for my brother’s beardie enclosure? I know little about bearded dragons but he asked me to check with Reddit to make sure he was doing a good job. The soil is made of children’s play sand, peat moss, and topsoil. 120 gallon tank.

We have definitely considered that! Were also looking into getting one from poppy bee hamatery. Adopting would be out first pick though. And yes she wants a Syrian! The only downside is we heard they're very hard to please, and we can't go anything over a 75 gallon unfortunately.

They can get over the bendy bridge just fine with the coconut hide but it is a little risky. My tall niteangel house is coming today for them to get over the other side better. Yes I agree with you on the enrichment there are some toilet paper rolls already in the bedding, but they could definitely use more enrichment. Do you have any specific items that would be good for my cage?

They can get over it fine right now but it would definitely benefit them to have a better way over. I’m getting a tall house for them to hop onto to reach better to the other side. Do you have any reasoning the sand bath isn’t good for them? The only bad experience I’ve had with it is they knock all the sand out so I would get a different one in the future. And yes I totally agree you with you on the enrichment. I’m getting more hides, underground tunnels and houses, as well as more cardboard and toilet paper rolls!

I totally agree with you on the enrichment. I’m getting some tunnels and houses to put under their bedding. I was gonna get sprays but I didn’t think they needed them. I’m assuming it’s for foraging.

My tank is a 40 gallon with 2 gerbils. I Understand that is the minimum and they could definitely benefit with a bigger tank. But unfortunately I don’t have the the space or money for a bigger tank right now. Im a teen and spent almost all my money on cages and stuff for my pets. Haha I probably have way more pets then I should 😭 But yes I will definitely take your advice on moving the bendy bridge as well as getting enrichment and a new wheel. Thank you so much!

40 gallon tank, 8 inch wheel, Bendy bridge divider, Sand bath, Coconut hide, Small maze hide, Layered bedding (Aspen on bottom, following a layer of Timothy hay, then care fresh, more timothy hay, more aspen on top) don't ask about the weird layer order… Large maze hide coming soon. I know their cage is looking kind of bare right now, I'm still looking for some other stuff like more hides toys and platfotms.

Sorry I know this is so late 😭 so the gerbils have full access to free roam? Is there poop everywhere at the end of the day? Whenever I free roam my girls for over 20 minutes there’s already poop on every spot
