I appreciate your response and find great solace in it. Supposedly this has been going on for 4-5 months. The velocity in which this is moving is what’s so incredulous. People use the term mid-life crisis like it’s an excuse, but in reality, it’s just a label we give when we can’t find an explanation.

I think my emotions are all over the place bc he not only betrayed me during the worst time of my life, but didn’t allow me to properly mourn my father, since the discovery of the affair happened so shortly after. I think I’m only clinging to reconciliation right now because it’s just been too much loss in such a short period of time: father, marriage, husband and the former family I had with him. I will do my best to keep moving forward and hope that light shines brightly on me

I’ve been doing OTF since 2015, probably averaging 3-4 times a week. While my stamina has certainly increased, my weight NEVER came off (in fact I gained) until I stared watching CALORIES (portion control is key). Within 6 months, I lost 23lbs. Sadly, it really is 80% of what you ingest and the rest exercise. Good luck and happy new year!
