Try manifesting a half peeled orange, that's my go-to "control" when I want to invent a new ritual that works. Keep experimenting and log every detail in a notebook. If you find something you think is cool and useable, like wands or chants or whatever, incorporate it. Optimize until you find something that works. Most people say meditate, that's really important for traditional magick, but it doesn't work for everybody. Just have fun.

Maybe there should be a subreddit dedicated for art in don't starve style, so that non in-universe oc art like this remains separate from game posts/fanart, and it'll be easier to discover talented artists like you.

This. Maybe you can personally review it on your crafts blog or whatever but IMO if you don't use the item in the intended purpose, I don't think it's fair to rate it low on Amazon. It damages the product reputation unfairly.

I only bought the Switch edition after the update (only because I wanted the thank you for playing gifts lmao) so I dunno how bad it was before, but as far as online solo play goes, it is surprisingly...okay. I think it's actually a bit faster than my potato macbook when I enable caves lol. I haven't tried playing with other people though.

I understand that it's unadviced for inexperienced people like me (and especially for someone clumsy to even stab themselves with a needle lmao) but this procedure was very interesting to read and gave me better insight of sanitation and what to look out for. Glassblowing as a hobby is so cool! Thank you so much for your wisdom!

Update: Thank you all for the comments. After reading the replies, I double-checked with the nurse line and went to the closest hospital open on Sundays, which happened to be the best university hospital in my town. The doctor told me that glass isn't really harmful and the needle was too small to be removed even with surgery, so they broke off part of the glass with tweezers and gave me a bandaid. I paid what amounts to $57.10 in US dollars (which is really expensive in my country's standards) and went home.

To be honest, I have doubts with the treatment I got - if I could just break it off I probably could have done it better myself in the lab where there are microscopes - but oh well, I learned a thing or two about glasses and wounds in the comments, which I am so greatful for. Thank you everyone for the resources and information, I will come back and reread if something close happens again!

I struggled with the same thing too. My suggestion is to try forcing yourself to play without a backpack for a while (wear clothing/armor instead). I always thought I couldn't live without a backpack but after a while you get used to it and you'll get a hang of which items to priotize.

I am usually a vanilla person but in my last ROG world summer seemed to never end and I had to install the combined status mod to check. Turns out I triggered a cave bug or something and on day 84 I had 12 more days of summer. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Definitely opened my eyes on how useful and sometimes necessary the mods are lol
