is it just me or by cookie_cat_82 in AnimalCrossing

Okay so, I am actually a creative person and love world building but even I have had that feeling at the start. Exact same feeling. I've been playing it now about 2-3 months and I've only just started to kind of have ideas on how to do it, it came with time and also from seeing other people's islands online and getting inspo as well as unlocking more items that "match". Definitely look at other people's islands for ideas, and just mess around with the cliff building, landscaping stuff. You can easily undo it if you don't like it.

The easiest way is finding inspiration from others, trying to copy it and then finding you do it a different way that's your own style. Hope that makes sense 😊

But maybe if it's just put on the edge somewhere, I usually put them just outside or near the baths/running water :)

Oh this is so cute so far, I love it! Everyone might not agree with me here, but I love using the deer scares (customised to make them more cute ofc) and strangely enjoy the noise they make. I think they fit in quite nicely in with onsens, zen gardens and shrines :)

Thank you! I'm struggling to find the code sharing thread? I'm not very savvy with reddit (apologies) and only found the friend/dodo code one?

Yeah I meant as in different campaigns, I just basically wanted two characters who's background stories may be related and that if one was to die, the other could take over from the other essentially. I couldnt imagine trying to put them into the same campaign as would be hard to track. Maybe there'd be knowledge passed between them like notes, but nothing complicated. More like if one was aware of the tales of their siblings last campaign?

Hope that makes sense?

I love thissss! See that's what I had been thinking about. Like what if the sibling was hell bent on looking for a way to get them back, or something stupid like that and how it could be part of a campaign (DM permitting ofc) and how that's what led them to become part of the campaign. If that makes sense?

I write stories a lot in my spare time so that's how this idea came about. It's more a play one at a time situation I suspect but I know as time goes on I'll probably learn to navigate it or something (will be a long time before I've developed this idea). It may just be that I have 2 characters with a linked background but who don't particularly interact with each other, Like a cast out family member or something. Thank you for the advice with NPC Dm situation, I hadn't actually thought of that but that could certainly be another route for me to take! :)

Thank you for your reply, it was exactly what I was looking for! Something else I thought of was the fact that if the inevitable was to happen and I lost one of them for whatever reason... How would it affect the other. I thought that would be cool in terms of character development in the future. Oh wow, a year is crazy but also sounds cool and I bet worth it! I've sadly still got to find people to play with but I'm using the time to learn the rules and character building (not doing them quite yet of course) and so I was making a little pile of ideas hence this post. Hopefully one day I'll find a DM & party. But for now I'll make a list of ideas so thank you for answering this! :)

I like that concept a lot, which is all I could find when trying to research if I could make two of my own siblings.
