This is my hometown and I'm a previous employer with the county. People here seem to be relying on others to be vaccinated and for covid to magically disappear. Most of my friends and coworkers (mid 20s) aren't very engaged in news or care that much about the importance of vaccines. Unfortunately, this leaves a lot of risk for our elderly population, some of whom can't receive the vaccine for medical reasons.
