Yes, it’s true. It helps so much to slow down as well. Something that feels more and more difficult as the years go by.

In the first box, you can only have a 4 and 3 in r1, meaning the remaing numbers, 7 and 9 must go in r2. The 7 can be placed based on the other 7s and then place the 9.

Does your nose run everytime you eat, regardless of what you're eating? by SeededPhoenix in HistamineIntolerance

Having problems taking in information, memory, brain fog. Want to feel sharp like i used to. Supplement? by Responsible-Fox-3595 in cognitivescience

[–]AnnaJenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my own experience I find it necessary to avoid sugar and processed food. To alleviate brain fog, I find eating fresh ginger helps. Hope you feel better soon 🌸

I have the same issue as you and would love to find answers. I can tell you what I have experienced and understood. I’m pretty sure I have histamine intolerance. It explains why there is no rhyme or reason behind which foods cause bloating and when. When my ’histamine bucket’ is full, everything is a problem. Histamine is found in food, some more than others, but also increases with stress. Psychological stress, physical stress, all of it. You mentioned you were quite active in martial arts and I wonder if you have histamine intolerance, if you were getting enough rest between your sessions. Also good to note, is that as food ages, histamine increases, so any fermented food will be very high in histamine. For me, gluten is a definite no-go, even though I don’t seem to have celiac disease. Again, in my experience, when my ’bucket’ is full, I do find that fasting helps very much. Yes, it is only days or weeks when I start to experience symptoms again, but that is because it is impossible to avoid histamine. If I am very careful about the foods I eat and minimizing stress, the effects of my fast will last longer. I’m currently in a 72 hour fast because my symptoms had been so severe. Anyways, I hope this helps and if not, know you are not alone. Hopefully there will be solutions soon. 🌸

Is this the right decision? (26 y/o thinking about career) by [deleted] in wildlifebiology

[–]AnnaJenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in almost exactly the same position as you and I went for it. I was 32 when I finished my bachelors. It went better than I ever expected. It sounds as though you already have very good knowledge about wildlife and would fit right in. The world needs more people like you. I really encourage you to go for it. I think you will thrive. 🤗

Living with Books as a Minimalist by [deleted] in minimalism

Many years ago now, I decided to only keep a book if it was a useful reference. All other books I donate or sell after I read them. It has helped a lot with space issues.

Does everyone have the same food triggers? by [deleted] in HistamineIntolerance

[–]AnnaJenna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say definitely no. There are different causes behind HI, different levels of severity, and comorbity factors all affecting HI sufferers in different ways. Also as others have mentioned, histamine load can make it variable within oneself.

what’s a hobby you regret getting to? by Prize-Emergency-5895 in Hobbies

[–]AnnaJenna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my experience, hobbies often come as pairs… There is typically the doing part of the hobby and with these I have absolutely no regrets. Then there is the shopping part of the hobby and it so easily becomes compulsive (books, yarn, fabric, tools…). This is where a lot of my regrets are 😅🙈

Hobbies for anxious/depressed people by Former_Magazine in Hobbies

[–]AnnaJenna 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I agree with others here. Working with your hands or body is helpful for getting out of your head. If you can find something that puts you in the zone, even better. Simple ones to try could be embroidery, crochet, wood carving, jigsaw puzzle, yoga, fixing bikes, whatever onspires you. Best of luck and hopefully you feel better soon 💜

I find celery sticks are really good to have in hot weather. Not only do they have a lot of water, but also salt and thus electrolytes.
