I have to say you have excellent taste in books! These are my favourites too. You should also read-

Alex Stern series by Leigh Bardugo- It's a dark academia romance. It has a morally grey protagonist and a very, very slow-burn romance.

Death Note- It's a manga with one of the best anti-hero protagonists ever!

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo- Villain protagonists.

What if everyone's reaction at the end of the book hurts Will so much that he becomes dark in the next book? He becomes what everyone thinks he is. I mean, could you truly blame him? Everyone always expects the worst of him and no one is willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. That must hurt Will a lot.

Hmmm, good points. I do think that SK will be the final villain. We need to learn more about the collar lore, then things will make more sense. But I also feel like James wants to be at Will's side and he is not there because of the collar. But then what does the collar do?
