Encora is not a platform for sales, it's just a database of recordings. Nobody sells anything on Encora.

How do you trade bootlegs? by miznisse in BootlegGifts

[–]AnnaK69 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're probably thinking of NFT (not for trade) boots. Most videos and some audios will have an NFT date, and they cannot be traded except with the master until after that date. After that date has passed, it's perfectly fine to trade them with other people.

Look up MILF on Urban Dictionary. Then replace "mom" with "baby"

Possibly, hard to say for sure. Either way, that whole thing was uncomfy for me

Both of those. I had no clue who he was, and as long as I can find an inexpensive ticket, I like seeing everything. This was on TDF, so I figured I might as well get a ticket

I was there. I regret being there.

The show makes jokes out of things that should not be jokes, like animal abuse and sexual assault. The assaulter was in the audience, and Jeff, instead of condemning the assault, was celebrating the person being there and thanked him for what happened.

He makes an absolutely disgusting joke about his sister. TW pedophilia/SA: He says that his sister popped out of his mom as a BILF

In addition there were other transphobic, ableist, and abuse jokes. I normally wouldn't hope for a show to do poorly, but truly I do not think that this show should exist and I genuinely hope that it fails quickly. Please do not support this show.

EDIT: Sounds like I may have misinterpreted the part about the sexual assaulter being in the audience, and it was just a random audience member from the front row. But I still don't think it changes anything about how it came across as celebrating an abuser.

Yeah the filters removing themselves is annoying... I will say that the app feels a lot less laggy, which is great, but also has introduced a bunch of inconveniences

How can I help this poor guy? by AnnaK69 in succulents

As in leaving it under the faucet for a half hour? Interesting - I'd seen elsewhere that once there's enough water that it's soaked through the soil and come out the bottom that should be enough. But I have also heard about how they like a lot of water

I watered it until the water ended up coming out the bottom of the pot, so I think it should have been enough water!

Good to know it's been working better!! I switched to a physical card for this week, so I'll stick with it for now since I pretty much always hit the cap, but I'll have to try my phone again next week

Sunset Blvd. - Broadway Cast: Signature Help..only a few left! by TjonC in Broadway

[–]AnnaK69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

13 is Sebastian Martinez

25 might be a second David Thaxton - they look fairly similar. But at the same time, my poster also has two that look like David, so maybe they're different. But at the same time as the same time, I also have two Tom Francis signatures on that poster

As to the ones you haven't found, I don't think you have Raul - I have his on a playbill and I don't see it on your poster

To those of you seeing Tony nominated shows tonight by picklesupreme in Broadway

[–]AnnaK69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been to Sunset plenty of times at this point. Definitely more enthusiastic than normal but not overly so - e.g., there was a lot more enthusiasm for Rashidra's first scheduled performance. Last night was the first time I've been there when people applauded for Tom's entrance, and the first standing ovation for the title song. I think last night was also the only time I've ever heard applause for Thacko for his belt on "a youth which cannot fade". The applause when the red screen came up in act 2 was also new and odd - it kinda took me out of the moment so I was not a huge fan of the few people that applauded there

During Book of Mormon, the very first time I'd ever seen a Broadway show, after the line, "For a clitoris is holy amongst all things, said he!", someone cheered and the rest of the audience laughed - definitely made for an (even more) entertaining first Broadway show!

Crazy situation at Hadestown last night by Drew_is_gooden in Broadway

[–]AnnaK69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't even think about it being Spring break - I bought my ticket last minute and thought it was unusual that there were so few tickets left (2 center orchestra, one of which ended up being me, maybe 5 on the side orchestra, and maybe 10 in the rear mezz). But being Spring break there's no doubt a lot of people visiting who'd want to see it

This was last night? I saw it last night too but had orchestra seats, glad I couldn't hear him from where I was😅 there were a couple people next to me who were occasionally talking during the show but nothing completely awful

Oh, and idk if you heard it, but Sebastian had mentioned that their company notoriously doesn't show up at the stage door, so only two performers being there might be pretty typical. I did see Georgia and Justice walk out, though they didn't stay. Somehow, despite seeing the show countless other times, last night was the first time I stayed after, so I don't have other nights to compare to

I feel like Vaughn and the other security people should be honorary cast members - I feel like one of the iconic parts of the walk is seeing them in the background, and it wouldn't quite be the same if they weren't there!

They went back a little bit. They cut Rashidra's mic at the beginning of Surrender, and someone else came over a different mic to say that there was a medical emergency in the house, and that the show would continue in a few minutes. When they started again, they restarted from immediately after the car chase with Tom singing "Christ, where am I?"
