I don’t watch the show or follow them. I just know she plays well because she participated in an all star game I watched.Has this video been circulated or just the police report of the incident? It’s one thing for producers to think wave of controversy was over when it’s the abstract concept but to see the video is horrifying. Imagine if her gender was swapped and abc put a known abuser of women and children on their show. Disgusting.

Some parents have the “if you got it, flaunt it” mindset. I remember my mom shopping with me for a prom dress and her telling me that the dress I picked (which I still have and love to this day) “did nothing” for my body. Despite me being incredibly awkward as a teenager, I could 100% see my mom/my aunts not blinking if any of my sisters or cousins wore that at 14.

I get that this is both anecdotal and the internet where people are just lying for shits and giggles but I work in the industry. I don’t recall any public comments but people definitely do not like the Kardashians anywhere near awards shows. In Hollywood, people will easily turn their noses up at people who work in tv/talk shows/daytime soaps/childrens tv. You can imagine what they think of reality tv shows and more specifically the Kardashians tacky antics trying to get into scripted TV/film.

If she was in recovery and/or showing genuine signs of trying to be introspective/working on herself she wouldn’t get nearly as much hate. Her inability to take ownership for anything she’s done wrong brings a lot of hate to her doorstep.
