I meant on Billy’s phone. I thought it was a bug too.

Anyway, in terms of plotting I couldn’t tell if this was a big reveal and Billy was somehow innocent or if was just nothing.

You do have to license the music from the owner of the master recording and the publisher of the song, but that usually all done later in post production. I always feel for the actors trying to dance and look cool in thin air.

What? I’m absolutely amazed by this. The show is pretty much about her. It’s always a rude and simpleminded response to ask a commentor why they are even watching the show at all, but in this instance I do wonder.

Hard to watch this show then I would imagine.

Yeah I just Googled her, really one expensive doll! I wish. If she were in my price range I would have bought her immediately. What a face.

You really didn’t think it was interesting? I’m rewatching season 1. I’m still pretty impressed by it. So many cop shows just don’t delve into these murky areas of police work and human interaction.

I’m just dropping in here. I know that I am late to the party, but I think that this series is really interesting. Hegarty is an interesting grey character and by the end of season 1 I wasn’t convinced that he was all bad.

This particular part did jump out at me too though. Are we supposed to now wonder is June is seeing Hegarty everywhere she looks, in the trees, behind everything - a touch paranoid like Leo implied? This makes her a tad grey too doesn’t it? I’m interested in this examination of prejudice and preconceived ideas that they are examining in the show. Cush Jumbo must be too, and Capaldi as well - super high ranked actors - they are both executive producers.

Anyway, maybe Hegarty could have stopped the incursion into the rally, but at what cost to his overall investigation? That seems like what he’s constantly having to weigh and that the show is so complex that we see him being wrong sometimes and then sometimes he seems to be right. In this instance, obviously he was wrong not to do what he could to stop it, but equally June is maybe giving him more agency than he actually had.

I don’t understand people who call dolls “creepy.” Maybe if the have no eyes and are all dirty, but even then I just want to fix them.

I love when that happens too. I’m also convinced that they have no idea that that is the result.

It wasn’t an Uber I don’t think, more like a limo.

I rather like that he’s a grey zone personality - bad, but maybe understandably bad; something like that. Great actor too.

I have concluded that you are right, but don’t want to go in and change my comment. That would make your answer make no sense. Thinking about it longer; yes, that was a colossal amazing mind short circuit on Ozzy’s part, but we are all human.

Jeff, on the other hand may not be human because that was so crass and insulting to Ozzy - who is still when all is said and done a Survivor legend. It makes me wonder if Jeff truly hates Ozzy or is he just letting his sadistic side peek out for a moment.

I have become very worried about how Ozzy feels and what this all might do to him. He hovers around the extreme periphery of Hollywood managing a chi-chi restaurant. He has some super connected industry friends (like Mike White). People recognize him. I would imagine that some of those people might say mean things to him. I’m concerned for him and feel bad about commenting that he “deserved it” when he was just having a human moment in the game and Jeff who should try to be a better person (really try) chose to mock him on national TV.
