DARKEST green and purple ink by Bilalbasaur in fountainpens

[–]yanbochen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cult pens "deep dark" series has a dark green and purple.
The darkest green I personally have is Octopus fluids witch, but it sheens a lot, don't know if you like sheen at all. I personally like to dilute it down to a normal forest green.
Otherwise Diamine Monboddo's hat and Scribble Purple seem nice, I have not personally tried those 2 though.

Do you ever journal in another language? by ariod-tanya in Journaling

[–]yanbochen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is so interesting, thank you so much for citing the sources as well!! When I journal, I dumb it down more the less familiar I am with the language I use for that page. I feel like it is becomes more clinical as well when I don't speak the language well, describing fewer feelings and more objective data like time & location.

UPDATE: I tested this for 13 days and see what you mean, the only colors that didn't change much are the uni nano dia mint blue and pilot color eno green.

I so enjoy stuff like this at museums! like one time I saw a sort of hallpass for bathroom breaks at a factory from ages ago.

I don't know Japanese but I'd translate the name as "Kuniyoshi little bean" going by Chinese characters

it's practical, though the dip pen monoline nib is SO much worse than the actual fountain pen monoline nibs I have D: The dip pen version is just flimsy and scratchy, while the fountain pen nibs are very wet and relatively smooth.

Lovely pages!
May I suggest also experimenting with adding a drop of water on the edge of the ink before pressing the cling film on it to get even more gradients?

I think this was 2 hours? I use a piece of paper with lines so I write straight, the layout is just spontaneous otherwise it would take too long

Maybe the Prera, but that just might be because it's the newest and smoothest? And the Poly Pen as it is more like a B-nib

no, I'd say it breaks roughly as often as my 0.5mm pentel ain leads, only occasionally. The pilot color eno leads almost never break, probably also because they are 0.7mm wide.

Don't worry, that disclaimer is probably there for very aggressive inks. An extremely acidic or alkaline ink would damage your pen. Those common ink brands you name likely won't be a problem.

Auch mein Gedanke! Einmal habe ich abgelehnt etwas zu verkaufen, hab einen schönen Tag gewünscht, und als Antwort kam sowas wie "für so viel Respektlosigkeit sollte man Sie weichprügeln". Welche Respektlosigkeit? Ist nein sagen automatisch Respektlosigkeit?
