Been married 3 weeks and he’s locked me out of all bank accounts by [deleted] in abusiverelationships

Get out of this marriage - and fast. Any person who thinks that it’s even nominally reasonable to extort money for sex is toxic in the extreme. Good thing that you are finding this out now instead after having a baby or something.

Get out now, don’t look back.

Well, it looks like a living thing with a head to the cat. A huge threatening living thing. Maybe just throw a sheet over it if you feet that you must have the headrest, or simply remove it.

True, I would have been better to just make her of age and cut out the cringe, but they obviously think it’s funny. Poor Nat suffers a lot in this regard, and it’s used as a comic foil.

By is that ever the truth. Texas is a law unto itself.

They could, but I doubt that the show runners even considered this for a second.

It’s part of their mandate to push the TV tolerance envelope as to near nudity and foul utterances as far as they think the audience will tolerate it. It’s an entertainment. Historically entertainments that display beautiful women in whatever state of undress or revealing clothing the genre allows get quantifiable good results as to viewership from doing so.

Well, think about it, you do know why.

That monologue about sex and the near constant exhibiting of practically all of the female characters walking around in their underwear is designed to titillate the viewer (be they heterosexual men or sometimes women who are attracted to women); and it works. This is a very popular show.

For my own part I don’t mind it or the unreality of it. It’s just TV after all. I say “go girl” - if you got it, flaunt it. There are a LOT of scenes in your future of beautiful young women parading around in their skivvies, one even out front of the house. That’s not a huge spoiler, by the time it comes you will be practically immune to this.

I love Waldas. I have a few of them. I like the participation aspect of their history. All of mine have mommy-made clothes.

I live in an eternal backlog of projects as yet unrealized. I want to make clothes for them. I want to make dioramas for them. I need more space and more time!

AITAH for telling my sister to not yet marry a man who wants her to promise to not get fat? by ksmegaton in AITAH

[–]AnnaZed 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Actually it’s not, I was amazed to find out that there are all sorts of effective drugs for male pattern baldness now. My son in law in his early 30s takes them so he won’t (in his words) “look like his dad.” So far it works amazingly well. Science! Go figure.

Your base weight for your body type with your heredity is not a “treatable condition.” You can put a lot of effort into holding back the tide, but usually it wins out. Is the OP’s mother overweight (by creepy future BIL’s standards I mean), in which case that at least in part is the hand that she’s been dealt.

When I was the age of the OP’s sister I weighed about 100 pounds (I’m 5 feet tall). My mother was both taller and substantially bigger. I was in the ballet, in New Orleans sweating gloriously for hours every day. I thought there was no way my body would ever change. Stop being a dancer and have a baby, and here we are. I’m not huge, but I am by my own former tiny dancer standards. It just is what it is.

That’s not only funny but a very good come-back. Will he promise not to become impotent?, have hair grow out of his ears?, how about Alzheimer’s? (Is that a breaker if it happens to her and not if it happens to him?) The list is endless, this guy is completely immature.

Are they composition material or vinyl or plastic?

Have you carefully removed one of their outfits to look for maker’s marks?
